Greetings, I'm new to the list. I looked in history a bit and didn't see answers to these questions. My apologies if the answers are here somewhere and I missed them.

Does anyone have a source from Oil of Abramelin? I purchased some from the philosophers stone and it certainly doesn't have the strength I imagined.

How did you folks create the medallion that contains the pentagram of solomon on one side and the goetic spirits sigil on the other? I had to order the metal on-line but not only could I not find a burrin, I'm not sure I have the artistic skill to use one. I've looked at doing some sort of chemical etching but I'm not thrilled with polluting the planet more than I have to. I suppose I could just paint the sigils on but that doesn't seem quite permanent enough. Any ideas?

Hi Robert, although I haven't used abramelin oil, you could make your own. I think its:

One part myrrh
two parts cinnamon
Half part galangal or calamus - depending on which translation you read
And half the total wieght of olive oil. This is Mathers translation

If you have a copy of the sacred magic of abramelin the mage, the ingredients are in there.

As far as the metal seals go, kinjo on this forum offers these already marked in copper and tin I think. You could also etch them in which is what I do at the moment with one of those electric engraving tools. Also I think if you do it yourself it adds to the process.

Thanks for the reminder, Loki. I used an electric etcher and it turned out great. I'm not much of an artist at all but I'm very happy with how things look.

I'm going to be selling some pentacles on ebay within the next day or so. They're made of resin with bronze powder, are six inches or so in diameter and have the sigils etc in relief.

Obviously resin with bronze powder is not strictly according to the grimoires but they do look extremely good and in some peoples' opinions, that is what counts when you're doing an evocation (i.e. - that your tools have class) I will eventually be making them in pewter once I solve a couple of problems but for the moment, it's resin with bronze powder.
