Greetings!
It would be difficult to pinpoint the experience mentioned as having to do with the demon Corozom. First off know that the spelling of this demon has changed with Crowleys incessant tampering with the transliterations. He had a bad habit of renaming things to coincide with his own ideas of gematria. The word magic
k is a prime example.
The demon was supposed to be the Dweller in the Abyss. Many have assumed that this was a way of saying that it was the Dweller on the Threshhold. Many work very hard to rise through the Aethyrs to reach and surpass the Abyss. If you feel that you have done this then talking about the demon after the fact is moot. I have mixed feelings about this. Crowleys tinkering with the demon with Victor N. has many blinds and dead-ends. It was assumed that Crowley used an 11th degree rite with Victor to culminate his experiment. (This involves sodomy and is usually overlooked or subverted by some to lessen societal norms/platitudes. I do not judge...nor do I know for sure, though I have my suspicions.) The Abyss has no permanent residents. I'm sure that this statement alone will raise the hackles of mant Thelemites and others. I care not, for, in the end, it is our truths that open the doors to our perceptions. I'm an old humbug with a balloon to Oz. Happy Journeys! (IMG:
