Coincidence: psychic or paranoid? Options

Life is full of coincidences but supposing you write a poem about something and then someone says the same thing the next day or you decide to post about a topic and then see it being discussed . Of course we all think of someone we haven’t seen for ages and then hey presto, they magickally cross our paths within hours or days of that, but what if lots of coincidences keep happening, when do the happenings become more than coincidence and what is the likely cause?

Do you think:

1 It is bound to happen as thoughts are energy and energy is always on the move
2 People are reading your mind because your shields are inadequate
3 You are psychic and picking up other peoples thoughts and delaying writing about them means that they talk about them first
4 Combination of all three of the above
5 I have some form of paranoia, can I afford a psych?

You can explain it in a number of ways. RAW suggests the mistake is to become too attached to any single model. I tend to agree with him on this. The more you look for coincidences the more you tend to see.
