I was raised as a Christian but over the years I have, for the most part, stopped believing for various reasons. I’ve reached a point where I’m seriously contemplating cutting ties and going another direction. I have a growing affinity for magick. I feel called to it, it makes sense to me so I want to explore this path and see where it takes me. Interestingly enough, banishing rituals call upon archangels and Yahweh. If I believe magick to be real and magick seems to acknowledge Yahweh and archangels’ existence, then maybe I shouldn’t entirely write-off Christianity despite my issues against it. I feel like I’m caught in the middle and I'm not sure how to reconcile this and what direction to go. I would be interested in your thoughts or if anyone else has faced this struggle?
