Did anyone try evoking the centaur..?
if so please tell us about that experiment ..

Well... Call me a rotten apple for doing this, but here goes:

Consider this, you are a woman in ancient greece, trying to tell your lady friends about the guy you had fun with the last festival of Dionysis, Aphrodite, Pan, etc. You say he was top half man, and bottom half horse. Now, to the listener with a wild imagination, a mystical centaur comes to mind. But, to the listener of a somewhat more bathroom-oriented cognition, another half-horse humanoid idea comes to mind.

If someone invokes a centaur spirit, I believe that the most they will get out of it is either attracting a man with a rather large PENIS, or in the case of a man, to grow a rather large PENIS.

On second thought, maybe calling me an armchair magician will suit me just fine for this one.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/yikes.gif) wow xeno...!!! my goodness, methinks you are trying to scare off the weak of heart! centaurs weren't all bad! yes...i know in mythology at least, they were considered aggressively lusty and virile...but that wasn't limited to a hard on. they could be philosophers as well as fighters. i think their kind of virility isn't just physical. i imagine trying to experience the centaur's will force would be worth a try!
surely the experience wouldn't be limited to a man maxing out his (IMG:style_emoticons/default/004.gif) lil buddy.

then again...the main one i was thinking of was Chiron...which is a GREAT example of how the centaur's traits can be honed into excellent skill.
not too many examples of polite centaurs though. so, i would exercise caution. i assume they are much more raw then one would originally suspect. still, i assume because they are often associated with bow and arrow that it can be determined they are practiced warriors with the ability to see whats in front of them, know what they want, and target and obtain an object of desire.
the idea of 'poisoned' arrows could mean that their ambitions can potentially lead them to destruction.

i believe, that they are used (in mythological stories) as an outlet for human desire; after all, the horse side of the centaur would not pillage a town. they are depicted as half horse and then half man, but generally i would like to believe that the horse side of a centaur 'enhances' whatever traits the half man already has (As opposed to the human side being repressed).

Aphrodite...erp. if its for attracting a man...id be careful, lol...the race is generally used along side the word rape.
but wouldn't it be nice if it was in the bodice-ripper sense of the word????

Most of the posts are off topic (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Question about evoking centaurs turned out into an discussion about lovers with big penis (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

No, I have not tried to summon a centaur, but I think, that all you will get will be some thoughtform of collective conciousness (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
