Hmm... I'm curious about Chaos Magick. Can anyone give me a good source or something useful to help me learn about it? I found one place before, chaosmagick.com, but it just seems like a bunch of files clusterfucked into a website with wierd images of deities. Thanks in advance, Shonenman

Greetings Shonenman! Have you looked over our library? We have some interesting literature about Chaos Magic(k). The works of Peter Carrol come to mind. There are many members that practice various forms of Chaos Magic(k). Good luck! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
My opinion seconds what bym has said. The three books by Peter Caroll cannot be beat: Liber Null & Psychonaut, Liber Kaos, and Psybermagick are a must read for any chaote, or any person interested in Chaos Magic Theory.
There is a a decent collection of texts over at www.chaosmatrix.com as well.
and I beleive the site Doc is referring to now ends in an .org for the domain name. as so ChaosMatrix as far as I know chaosmatrix.com doesn't exist anymore, but I will be happy to stand corrected.

In Chaos Magick ... 'anything is possible and anything goes' ... you make the rules and combine anything with anything or everything. It is a bastardisation of everything into a form you can use ... it is powerful and dangerous.....

Of course one could find evidence to support the supposition that chaos magick, whilst appearing to be a modern system bodged together from all the other systems, is on fact the most ancient and purest magickal system.

Us, intrepid explorers, of the magickal arts may merely be rediscovering the foot falls wandered by ancient magi. It may well be a little like wandering through a desert and finding footprints, before realising after a while they are footprints made by ourselves previously in our journey.
