I'm fairly new to servitor creation and taking my time in planning one, there is however one aspect that I get hung up on and that's the dissolution of the servitor. I feel a great deal of responsibility when thinking of creating something that is for all intents and purposes a energetic offspring. As such I find it off putting to simply dissolve the construct after its duty has been fulfilled, even if that duty is years down the road. I'm working from a witchcraft (primarily folk magic) so this is well away form my typical craftings, but I've wondered if the servitor can be "given" in a sense to a deity if they assist in the creation of the servitor.Any perspective and insight is welcome and appreciated, as I said I'm taking my time trying to learn as much as I can before I jump head first so please feel free to give input.

you could do that. But in doing so you would give a piece of your mind, while it was still attached, to the deity in question. If you really like the deity that might not be such a big problem. But it's typically a step most people wouldn't take.

Some other alternatives could be retasking - within the basic theme the being was created for. A sort of thing like setting free, which involves developing the servertor's capabilities until it can exist on its own. Or as I like to do, return the being to my mind in such a way as that I can call it back when I want to.

Cosmic consciousness is devoid of diversity; yet the universe of diversity exists in notion....
We contemplate that reality in which everything exists, to which everything belongs,
from which everything has emerged, which is the cause of everything and which is everything....
The light of [this] self-knowledge alone illumines all experiences. It shines by its own light.
This inner light appears to be outside and to illumine external objects.
