Read something online about a 'Japanese scientist' who wrote out the characters for positive words on some bottles of water (stuff like -happiness- and -health-) and words like -hate- and -war- on others. By taking 'special photos' he revealed that the bottled water reacted sympathetically to the individual words. A perfect example of sympathetic magick I decided to try out; I don't know what validity his claims have to the scientific community. It doesn't really matter either way. I've used two bottles, one filled with water and all its connotations (I think Bardon had some strong opinions about the sympathetic powers of water, in a pseudo-sientific sense, too). I've used a second bottle for negative scrawls. Meditating to the sound in trance and saturating the liquid with intent, my first thought was to mix the liquids together and drink them. But much is made of discarding the negative, cutting it away, washing it away, destroying it. I've even found one proverb (from somewhere in Africa) that explicitly says 'filthy water cannot be washed'. Which means it would be preferable, in a ritual setting, to do something like run the negatively charged liquid down the drain. Although it all comes down to personal symbolism, the distinction is important. I wondered what any of you would have done?
