Dragons, A Little Confused Here, need some answers here Options

I have been reading on this site a lot about dragon companions. I am a little confused. Some people say that you can only see your dragon companion in your mind, another person said that he showed his friends his dragon companion. any clear answers here. Also, i may be interested in seeking out my own dragon companion. Can anyone tell me the positive aspects of finding and having a dragon companion. Oh, and i believe this is my first or second post so, hi everyone.

Yes, that is so that they appear in your minds eye; that is also how I have seen my friends dragon too. Proven by me describing something about my friends dragon that is not true of every dragon. My friend has also seen my dragon. Once you have seen one, you can often see other beings at that particular energy level.

There are plenty of posts in cryptozoology about the hows and ifs and buts, have a read through about what people think about how to get acquainted with them. It is rather a nice companion to have (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Along with that, I also wanted to know that if I ask for a dragon companion and he or she decides to stay near me what kind of things can these entities do?

Well, mine was sent to me to assist me in my magick and basically most things I asked of him; but I have to admit to being a lazy wizard and rather fond of home comforts so I have treated mine a bit like a pet, which is not his purpose. It is not their purpose at all, but hey, if I really take the trouble to ask a sensible question, I do get a good answer even if I don't understand it, the fault lies entirely with me and my own lack of proper communication skills to be honest.

They can tell you or show you where to find what you need to know but YOU have to learn how to see them and how to hear them.

I met mine in a created world. I was actually contracted to kill him but turned against the ones that hired me when I discovered their intent was diplorable. Now we're allies. He keeps a watch over the land, and fights along side me when needbe.

UHHHH, what? I am sorry but you say you created a land and the dragon protects it. Sorry but I dont understand.
