I've been running the regular meditation and practices for developing your psi energy as described on some sites shown here. Visualising a sphere behind my abdomen, pulling the energy up through my chest, and to my hands, ect. But what I have noticed recently is being completely exhausted the day after. I've been keeping a routine of 30 mins on day, none the next, and repeat. Today I could barely lift my backpack. I haven't been doing much out of the ordinary other than extending my time from 10 to 30 mins. Perhaps I'm rushing it abit? I'm just curious to know if anyone else has had these effects on them.

It has been my experience that when utilizing psi ability the body uses up an enormous amount of energy which can manifest as low blood sugar. Leaping from 10 to 30 minutes is a huge jump in the beginning....ease back abit. After engaging in psionic practice it is reccomended that you eat/drink something that will replenish you. Water doesn't count (though it is necessary). Getting proper sleep is also of prime importance! Eating not only helps with the dip in blood sugar but will also help dampen down your solar plexus chakra which is a key component in the using/dispersing of energy. It acts like a 'grounding'. Conversely, fasting, can help 'open' these subtle centers. Now don't go off on a ridiculous fast hoping to open up your psychic centers! All that you'll get is a splitting headache and nausea....Use common sense and work alittle every day and you'll soon see some very unique results! Good Luck! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Whenever I do anything magickal, it makes me tired and hungry, usually the next day; I think our bodies often need time to adjust to new experiences of any kind.

I would say make sure you are eating well and getting enough good rest, sometimes there is a tendency with so many other things in our lives to tack the magickal practice on at the end of the day as there are often so many things to be done and often so many people around us that prevent us from practising when we want to.

For a newcomer, it is normal to feel tired. This is the first time a person is using mind power to perform energy manipulation. The theory is similar to someone who does a kind of sports for the first time. As times goes by , the tiredness will fade away.

Hi all, I have to say I also feel tired , but somewhere I read that if trying to raise energy as you / we are, using your own energy you are bound to feel tired, where as if you draw in the energy from outside you IE the earth or just draw in from the universe using pore breathing etc, you will not feel tired, maybe some one with the experience can put me right.

That would make sense. I guess I could practice pore breathing and taking energy from things like the moon and sun. Sounds like a good step up, rather than attempting to triple my meditation time.

That sounds nice! This is what i do to get psiballs, it's a nice tutorial for every newcomer (IMG:style_emoticons/default/13.gif) it's the voice of the experience that is saying it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/13.gif) And you don't feel that much tired when doing, atleast i didn't!
