A Visualised Place, Why Don't We All Go 'Visting' A Place? Options

Just have a suggestion which is inspired by something I saw on another site ...

Why don't we have a topic/thread/forum somewhere where we can all input our ideas on a visualised place or location ... we could all provide details like its culture, its landscapes, its peoples, its climate etc etc ...

And then why don't we all try projecting there ... as either a group 'holiday' on a specific date announced on the forum ...

We could then all compare our observations and see if we see ourselves there?

At worst it would be a good exercise in creative visualisation and in creating a thought form ...

I like the idea, you should draw the place, as I percieve terms with multiple meanings lol.

The initial step would be expressive terms, simplified from the group collection of terms

Why not create an SMF astral temple?
The temple will be created, maintained and used by the forum members, with a custodian being elected to oversee the temple on a day-to-day basis.

The temple will look like this...

If someone can come up with a suitable sigil then we can agree and date and time to energise the sigil and create the temple. Members would then be able to use the temple as an astral retreat and work space.

we could start by creating a temple, and then we could add other buildings, landscape, and perhaps even inhabitants into the world.

perhaps we could build zones where other entities could find their dwelling. Its advanced magick, but there are many of us, as a group we should be able to pull it of.

however, the following 3 weeks i can hardly spare any energy, so i cannot lend any toward the project for now.
After these 3 weeks i have nothing to do for a long time, so i can be of assistance.

Cool ... I like the ideas which are forming already ...

We also need the temple to be dedicated to a deity ... what god or goddess has it been built to?

We will need to create a ceremony of some sort to first set the vibration of the temple to that of the deity ....

Ideas?

i don't think it is needed to dedicate the temple to a deity.

I would say we call it "the temple of light" or something like that. Perhaps something in Latin or Hebrew.
We could dedicate it to "the tao"/"Ain Soph"/"the force"/...
or if a deity is really needed by majority i opt for Tahuti.

A ritual is hard, as it would have to bridge all different styles of magick that are represented here on the forums.
All 5 elemental energies should be used when building the temple, along with most or all planetary energies.

If we make it a strong and powerful place then it should be worthwhile to build. We should make it a device where all sources of power we can manage join together. That is some advanced magick, that is hard to do alone, but the joined forces of these forums should be able to stabilize the temple and its connections.

We could even create a demi-god to protect the temple, an extremely strong servitor with a mind of its own. If we do not provide him an ego, and make sure he is totally free in his actions then he should not pose a problem.
I do not suggest control over him, we should make the demi-god so that he can be trusted completely, and his judgement should be wise. He should not have the following propertys: greed, lust, desire, ability to feel pain, ability to feel pleasure, ability to love, ability to hate, etc...
Completely free of ego he should not pose a treat to anyone except those wanting to destroy or leech from the temple's energy.

I once projected 3 inches, but that was then, could you create a sigil that helps us all project on a certain date and to a certain temple.

I can create a Sigil for anything.
But to be honest i cannot project either.

Normally my third eye Sigil should help projection. As the opening of the third eye facilitates such things. I've made great progress with it, but I'm not finished yet.

I think projecting is a rather hard thing to learn.

If you can complete the sigil we will then move on to the next step and create a suitable ritual.
I am a bit busy right now on another project but can spare some time in a few weeks to get this moving along.

If you suggest a intent like 'I will successfully astral project on ?date? to the ?temple?' then I may create one soon if you have a date and temple name. use janpanese for a name and set a distant date.

And also for the zodiac, i seem to have lost all the occult information on my pc, i think i accidentaly deleted the folder.

I like the sigil too ... and reckon once it is finished to the total satisfaction of its creator we should charge it up and get on with starting the temple

the Sigil is finished,
i included all the planets, and the 4 elements.

these forces should be filtered and transformed into pure energy in the center of the pyramid. also i followed the design of the temple provided by mediocracy, so the Sigil looks a little like the temple.

Jeez! You guys have been busy....
For my 2 cents worth...you need to add Pluto symbol and why are there 19-20 steps in the pyramid??? How 'bout 21? If nothing than for symetry sake! (Good work BTW Smoking Fox) If this reflects some of our Forum we could have a Guardian Stele of the Sacred Magic logo of Anubis within the first doorway or as a signpost to the Astral Path leading to the Temple....just a thought...any more brainstorming ideas? Good point, I will change the number of steps to 21.

Also, I dropped the symbol for pluto becouse the sigil would not be symetrical anymore.
I now have 10 planets, otherwise I would have 11, wich i cannot divide by 2. therefor i have to place one planet, or all of them at different locations.

Perhaps i could change a few things around to add pluto.

11 is a more potent number, so it would be worth the trouble.

But that is for another day, now i am going to meditate and then go to sleep.

The temple looks nice. One thing that could be done to include pluto would be to kick the encircled cross either above the temple or somewhere at the steps of the temple. If an even number of planets is desired perhaps add chiron, and maybe even the north and south nodes.

I was wondering though about if there is any purpose behind the placement of each planet around the temple. Ascending to descending order could be important as well as what planets are correspond with each other. The order may very well make sense since I'm not an astrologer but it just seemed somewhat out of place to have the moon third on one side and mars third on one side.

good point Bb3, i must admit that i don't know these orders of planets correctly, i may look them up, but i don't have time for that.
I have some hard work ahead of me these next few weeks, both magickally and mentally. Making a sigil i can do, but research not.

If anyone can provide a proper arrangement for the planets, then i would be happy to arrange them in that order.

I could put the sun at the top then, which will make the Sigil an obvious solar temple, or perhaps some other planet could hover above the temple, perhaps this is important for the god choose as well.

Perhaps we should first choose a god then, can anyone make a poll for it? Then we can put the planet associated with that god at the top, that would be the most obvious choice.

I do not like exalting one planet over the others if there is no obvious reason, it would make a certain energy dominate the temple, and it would be beneficial to make sure that energy is the one we seek to have.

It would matter little to the placement of the planetary symbols...throw pluto at the bottom! We aren't creating a 'solar'lodge are we? Even so, one needn't advertise this. I think that you(all) are doing a marvelous job! When we (you) get this thing established, then one could create a personal servitor/elementary to serve as a private Librarian....?(Just an idea...) A Doorway sigil should be constructed? Or would that defeat the purpose? Ideas? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused012.gif)

Perhaps we can also design an 'artist's impression' of the inside of the proposed temple ... so all participants can at least visualise the same at the onset ... first square ...

... then we can maybe take it in turns to draw an 'artist's impression' as the temple energy builds and the fun starts ...

I'd also suggest we keep a forum journal of all members experiences within the temple ... things like entities met ... members met (maybe) ... etc etc ...

Volunteers too for the Librarian Sigil suggested by Bym (I'm inept at these kind of things) ..... I will have a go at designing the altar or maybe the view from the top of the stairs ....

This is such an awesome idea, sounds extremely difficult though. I will help out in any way i can but remember im just a begginner (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Also i think Samandiriel would be best to evoke if you wanted to do that. Cool Sigil too!
