QUOTE(bym @ Apr 30 2009, 12:35 PM) LOL! My OPINION would be to go with Fehu. We don't always recognize the path(s) we're on and what we think of as proper may not be what your higher self deems proper...Whereas Fehu brings you bounty and advancement. This is really ultimately your decision...depending upon the winds of probability. Meditate on the various aspects of both and then examine your position in your current probability thread, follow the leads and make an informed decision. So much for my snake oil! LOL! Good luck, regardless! PS Combine the runes to make a bindrune. Multi-task!
Thanks so much for your quick reply Bym! I just have a couple of questions. 1) Why did my question elicit such laughter? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/oops.gif) 2) I have used the bindrune method a few times before with mixed results. Is there anything specific i should watch for so that the working doesn't go awry? Thanks Again. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Velarius

You can combine Runes as suggested and probably get some good results. The main problems are just that, as bym pointed out, if your working with conflicting energies or you over complicate it and make a construct that cannot work.
What I would do is consult the Runes themselves.
While Runes can have specific meanings they can apply to different situations. So say taiwaz (going by elder futhurk) is the warrior's Rune. Athough it could be used by someone who is athletic or a fighter, the aspects of a warrior can apply to business. Aggression, domination, good strategy are all useful in business. Therefore you could use that Rune just as well as Fehu IF - you wish to apply the aspects of that Rune to business.
Fehu, in my opinion, is Rune for general success in business. Not bad, but perhaps not specific enough for you personally. So if you have a leather bag or I suppose you could even use a card board box if you want (just some kind of container) place the Runes within that container, meditate on your job situation while holding the bag of Runes and mixing them. When you feel you have meditated long enough draw a Rune. That Rune is now the Rune you should use. If the Rune is in reverse that's the stone's way of saying "not me" but maybe read what the oracle for that Rune says since it may make you aware of something you had not considered. Regardless, set it aside and draw another Rune until you get one that is right side up. Contemplate the meaning of that Rune and if you feel that it can apply to business and success to you specifically, endorse that Rune.
You do not have to pick the first Rune you draw though. You can continue to draw a Rune until you have found one that works for you. So say you draw Gebo, the Rune of sex and relationships, maybe not the best Rune for a job. Then again, maybe good relationships is a useful aspect for your desired job. The point is to find a Rune that is specific to you and that will serve you the best in this given situation. You can combine Runes if you wish. Though I personally tend to side with Occam's razor - the simplest solution is usually the best.
PS if you use this technique and draw Odin's Rune (if you use it) reconsider taking this job. It means there are things about that job you do not know about that may not be good things for you. And if you are determined to get this job regardless, take out Odin's Rune before you start.
