Hello Everyone. I am known by many names but we shall settle with Greg. I developed my interest in the "occult" about 2 years ago, first finding a deep interest (or maybe more intrigue) in Shamanism. As I read more, I found a plethora of various phenomena and esoteric groups, etc that I had never imagined existed prior to my discovery. My interest was piqued with a little something called astral projection and along with it, lucid dreaming, dreams in themselves, and psychic phenomena. One way or another I wound up with a deck of tarot cards. I was absolutely amazed that a little deck of 72 cards could contain the inner universe of man, and I just so happened to own the Crowley Thoth Deck, and it eventually led me to absolute fascination with the Golden Dawn and Chaos Magick.
Alongside all of this, I had always had a great interest in psychedelics, drugs, and all other sorts of mind-altering substance. It was like existence was peeking out of the cracks of existence to call me over and grow the balls to peek back into that existential crack. My interest in psychedelics led me to not only experiment with a few myself (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) but I heard of a book called "Breaking Open The Head", by Daniel Pinchbeck. This book catalyzed for me great thoughts and great appreciation for everything, and you might say it broke open my head to always keep an open mind, because being jaded is choosing not to see the other side, and this was what I was trying to avoid in the first place. His book led me to his more recent writing "2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl" which is another amazing work by Pinchbeck. Of course it would be pointless and redundant to mention all of the books I've read and my interests, but I felt these made a large impact upon me. Pinchbeck also wrote of a man by the name of Terrence Mckenna. All of this was great food for thought and really brings me up the point I'm at now. Also, it should be necesary to drop the name of Grant Morrison, who influences my beliefs greatly.
Well, now since I've wrote a friggin' essay describing my life, maybe you know a little bit more of who I am, and what I believe.
