Tickets To Lecture Options

In my dream, I'm standing near a ticket counter located in some sort of building. The crowd around me is waiting to buy tickets to hear a "standing" lecture (on spiritual matters) from a older female friend of mine ("Standing" meaning both she and the audience will stand for about four hours.)

In the window of this building, there's a child gymnast/acrobat (She must've been about 4-5 years old) entertaining the crowd by doing headstands on a rotating platform.

hum. makes me think of childhood, adulthood, and late life.

i don't know why but almost automatically, your account of it brings to mind the sphinx riddle, you know in the tale of Oedipus, the greek hero?

what goes on 4 legs in the morning, on 2 legs in the afternoon, and on 3 legs in the evening?


i know it sounds like a stretch but hey dreams are a congress of random moments and messages aren't they?

Obviously since it is a lecture, the dream is about a lesson to be learned. I might be that you are supposed to learn to be a child, or that you should learn to look at things from a different perspective like upside down. Those are guesses though. When I think of a child and upside down it reminds me of when my child was born. Suddenly the world was turned on its head. From that moment, there was someone in my life who was much more important to me than myself. It literally felt as though the energy of world was changed for me. It was a life changing moment and nothing has been the same since.

So the lecture from the older woman sounds like you subconcsiously desire to seek the wisdom of someone more, perhaps, spiritually evolved or experienced. Maybe the lecture is a message from your higher mind that is important but the inner child in you isn't taking the message seriously. Two questions you can ask your self out of this are 1) How am I like the old woman giving the lecture? and 2) how am I like the child gymnast? After asking yourself both of these questions it should become more apperant what the message (from the older woman) is and whether or not you are heeding what is essentially your own advice.
