 Mantras/chants

I've been doing chaos magick for a while now and despite the fact that I'm not a beginner I'm also not a master. Anyway I was wondering if concentrating on a mantra during gnosis would work just as well as concentrating on a sigil. Has anyone here tried this and had any success with mantras?

Yes, mantras work very well for me. They help program the unconscious, whip you into a chosen emotional state for a magickal operation and can send messages into the astral, etc. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wandwizard.gif)
