Yes. i read this book a number of years ago. It had a fairly profound effect on me. On the surface it appears like more of the same. But, I tried the 4 bricks and a statue thing....if you read the book you know what I am talking about. Now, I consider myself to be of the "Constantine" variety.(the keanu reeve movie) I learned to respect Set in a big way. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/black eye.gif) It was from 'dabbling' with this that I learned the value of scrupulous honesty.( which doesn't mean I am... it just means I understand the significance of it all) anyway,... I could go on and on about this. But, this is my first post. And this question is the only reason I signed up. I knew a sorcerer in Phoenix. He said he was Ipsissimus. He showed me many cool medallions and 'tablets' he wouldn't let me look at. He was the first majickal person I met who truly convinced me that majick really is real and not just a "if you believe in it" sort of thing. I contacted the Temple and corresponded with a gal for a while. But, I suppose I was considered insignificant. Or, I just was hesitant to send money right away. Not that I am complaining. They were probably right.
A lot of things have changed since then. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mf_popeanim.gif) But, I am convinced of the reality of it. I always was, actually. But, TOS (IMG:style_emoticons/default/egypt1.gif) really convinced me. Even if I am a goody two shoes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) in their eyes, and not worthy of admittance.
Cool smileys

When I was a member in the TOS, both of these books were recommended reading. Don Webb is also a fantastic fiction author, and I would recommend all of his work for anyone in the LHP.
