Astral Circle, using a cross to create it Options

When I create the astral circle using a cross in an evocation, is it okay if the cross has a small figure of Christ on it? Will this effect the summoning of a spirit or strength of the circle in any way?

That depends on what kind of energy you associate with Christ. If included in that symbol is that it banishes spirits, then that my be an issue. Most people obviously wouldn't summon, say, demons, in the presence of such a symbol.

But, it's to personal taste. It's only really important that you understand what the energy you're using means to you, what it implies, because if you think about them, you're only illuminating what your unconscious mind already believes. If you know more about what an energy means to you, then the purpose or the conflicts of indtroducing the energy into a situation are self-apparent.

Seeing that Christ is a protective beeing...this will make the cercle protective...but I advice you that after you close the cercle to hide this object under some piece of silk or linen... depending on your clishee faith, the cross may scare the spirits aspecialy if they are demons...So...if they(demons) attack and you do not have a sword or the cercle closed the cross may be a powerfull wepon!
