Charging Talismans, How to do it? Options

I've recently finished a course on metalworking (with focus on silversmithing) and am now interested in making some talismans, utilizing my newly acquired skills. So, I have the actual physical construction part figured out (I can post a how-to on the subject, if there is enough interest). What I would like to find out is the other parts to this process, i.e. consecration and conjuration.
How do you go about turning a piece of metal into an active talisman? For the sake of simplicity, we can narrow it down to just planetary talismans. Thus, the piece of metal is prepared and inscribed with symbols relating to the planet (astrological, spirit, intelligence, and so on; i.e. images found in Agrippa's works) at an astrologically 'good' time. What's the next? Would anyone care to post a step-by-step? I am especially interested in the conjuration part.

well if you make a pentacle of solomon from the greater key, there's no charging at all. Sure, you could do it using a couple methods, but why waste time and money and sweat on making a kickass talisman if you're just going to charge it?
Do it the way the grimoire specifies, if you choose to make one of those planetary pentacles. Get the right ingredients for the incense, and try to follow along in blessing the traditional way. I've only done it the grimoiric way once, which worked pretty well, but that was only a paper talisman. I can only imagine how well it would have gone if I had made a metal version of it.
The idea, at least it's my belief, that once you do the blessing ritual, the angels that are inscribed in it are set out to accomplish what the talisman is for, at all times, as long as you don't forget about it.

Piety and hard belief will go far with Talismans. But sometimes we need to help boost this along. Having faith in a higher power to do the work is great but, then, why would you need a talisman?
Place the Talisman within the Triangle and perform the ritual(s) for invoking/evoking the planetary current and entities. Full blown physical manifestation is not required but you do wish to bring the energies to the Astral.
Construct your talisman/vessel. Prepare yourself and the work space. (This includes a thorough banishing of the elements and the planets , LBRP & LBRH, preceded by the middle pillar. Use your preferential style or methods). Burning the proper incense and burning the appropriate Lamps, begin the ritual, calling the atziluthic power of said planet envisioning the appropriate color shifts...and proceed down to the Briatic powers, etc., and follow with the Yetzirahtic names. You may involve scent, movement and sound/music, orchestrated to match the litanies. When the color ray of said planet envelopes you, concentrate the energy flow to the talisman...have the intelligences trace their symbols on the talisman during the invocation/evocation as you draw the power down. When the deed is done, dismiss the energies/intelligences. Record any instruction the entities may give you and wrap the Talisman in silk. Some say to place the talisman in a bag the color of the planet you're working with....just make sure it is silk! Banish the element/planet you were working with and ground out extra energies. This is merely one method of charging an elemental or planetary Talisman. I'm cramped for time right now but can get fairly specific later. Whilst physically crafting a Talisman you can imbue a fair amount of power through intent. Bardon mentions this form of construction...I'd recommend Bardon, Aurum Solis and the Golden Dawn as all illustrating various methods. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/i_triangle.gif)

thats the kind of thing i m writing about right now.

once you have the finished talisman you can go about three directions.

1. Old Ceremonial way.
Put the talisman on the altar, make prayers extracted from wherever the talisman or the seals on it are extracted, sprinkle it with holy water and perfume it with proper incense. Might be a good idea to call upon the speciffic entity working with this talisman to bless it.

2. GD way.
Banish and Invoke the hell outta that talisman, with proper vibrations , Lesser, Grater , Supreme Rituals of whatever you are working with, etc etc. I m not the GD type so i can t say much here.

3. go creative.
start by making proper atmosphere acording to the sphere, incense, parfumes, candles, etc
center youirself.
draw in the God Names or angel names through your breath and exhale them upon the talisman, at wich momment you shall inflame the proper name or deal by visualisation.

or

make an energy-chi-prana ball with your contration, between your palms, fill it with intent, then light it from within, put in the image of the talisman and its names and seals and start increasing its luminosity by doing this. When reaching what you feel to be maximum concetration, melt the ball with the physical talisman and make the talisman "soak up" everything.
establish a speciffic mantra or word of power that goes along with this process that will allow instant re chargiong. This can be the God Name used, the verse written on it or the name(s) of the angel(s) that is used.
