Tarot Or Intuition Not Functioning, Why does it not when it has been for so long for me? Options

Can anyone tell me why tarot divinations sometimes do not work? as in seemingly give an answer that seems right and feels right but then kind of backfires?
Let me say that this just happened to me after a long time of stellar and perfectly accurate readings. Also where does the information or guidance come from? is it the higher self or just some mechanical part of the mind that simply spurts out answers lol

In my experience the tarot themselves always provide accurate answers. What you could do is ask the tarot why you're unable to interpret them at this time? I once asked the Tarot what could I do to improve and I got the impression that I was bound by my current perspectives and lack of a tried and tested path. As we take the journey of the Tarot we will always face new challenges ahead and overcoming these will strengthen us. I always like to test my intuition and the reading of the cards. One can learn the blueprint of the track but it is always wise to walk the track to learn its nuisances, limitations and strengths.

In regards to what power governs the system, I do not know yet.
