Modern Grimoires Options

I ask this becuase I'm interested in finding out how many of you actually like any of the modern grimoires. In truth any book on the subject could be considered a 'grammar' BUT I'm more looking at the summoning NPE (Non-Physical Entities) aspect rather than the just listing of spells, rituals & ceremonies.

Have any of you ever worked with any of the following:

Miracle of the New Avatar Power by Geoff Gray-Cobb (also affectionately known as NAP)

The Magic of the New Ishtar Power by Al G. Manning (also known as NIP)

Frater Malak's Grimoire of Mighty Spells and Rituals by Frater Malak

And there are others.

I know many of you work regularly with the Simonomicon and get results with it but there's a growing trend about these modern grimoires where you can summon and make contact with the NPE's in them and get results. I have used all three and gotten terrific results by using them. We've discussed these books in Evocational Magics in Yahell Groups quite a bit. None of them are all that expensive if you look for them on Amazon, Alibris, Abe Books or some of the other second hand search functions.

Geoff Gray-Cobb is still alive and ticking and there's one of my colleagues who is in touch with Geoff's daughter. He's hoping to find out if he can reprint Geoff's books one of which is his really rare Amazing Secrets of New Avatar Power which has been seen on both Amazon & Half.com for around $400 used. Plus we're wondering what else Geoff has that wasn't published. Sort of like how Basil Crouch allegedly has a Voodoo Magic course that was published but has eluded my grasp for some time and some other booklets on other esoteric subjects.

Boy is this thread dead. More like stillborn. Just wanted to say that I received my copy of NAP in the mail yesterday. It only cost me $45 bucks. It shipped from South Africa. I'll let you all know how it goes. Anyone here used it?

I'm sorry if I intrude with my ideas, but I think what you are looking for in the books, it can only be found within you.
These books, have the same function, that had the ancient grimoires, ie to channel beliefs nell'adepto, following certain technical aspects.
Even here, the question arises, who writes, reports what are the fruits of their own experiences, plus you should read between the lines of evolution.
It is extremely important, because, even if there is the desire to take a certain path, it is said to support it then you are the right means.
The means are the degree of evolution that is in us, left by previous lives.
If there is this half, (which is the reason why we come to the Art of magic, that is to adopt a medium that is able to create a synergy between introspection energy of 'I, and awareness in channeling it in the form of thought ideological), unfortunately there are not the desired results.
This is not intended as an ALT, but rather, an incentive, in the awareness factor of its evolution, in order to move forward in the right direction.
Then what will not happen in this life, will in the next, always else if this was the breakthrough.

It seems that sometime after he wrote this MOLOCH tried the book out. Apparently it worked quite well for him. You can read his well written blog post about it.

The NAP system looks hokey as anything and bits of it looked cobbled together from other systems. A quick search also turned up a lot of people who say they use it with great success, yet no one can tell me how it works, by what principle it functions, or the type of success they got (moloch is the exception to the last part).

Magus' tend to like results in this lifetime as a minimum, this year is better and this week if at all possible. Waiting is not their strong suit.
I agree that all grimoires channel beliefs in that they take a small bit of reality and interpret it in a particular way that produces results, and that everything can be found inside you, but that is my paths bias, others find what they search for other places too. That's one of the niffy quarks of being in this universe.

Another book, Miracle of the New Ishtar Power,cited in the blog presents its spirits as a type of thought form. I would be curious to know how the spirits are approached in NAP.

As a methodology extremely fast, often lacking, a thorough knowledge of deep interiority of the human being and its potential created through divination techniques, energy projections of the self, in the form of images, sensations and phenomena beneficial or malicious.
The need of man in this case is to customize what appears on the outside and does not know, because I do not perceive it as part of his potenziale, need to give him a verse with your meter, which is the application the concepts of belief, spirits, angels, demons, etccc.
Since no limit to human potential, these energy projections will express themselves with non-human power ..
For this reason, during the divinations, are evoked as spirits of the dead, etc ..., to intervene to ensure that the desire expressed to happen.
With regard to the so-called demons (evil energies that dwell in man as the very substance of his being), shall be designed method structures well planned, so that the work in his belief, purchasing a perfect mastery of himself, so never take their attention, and consequently assume an attitude of power against these demons-so-obey in all respects.
They do not realize that they just ride, - direct-their energies where they want.
All this lays bare the fragility of human pride, that using these methods will retain the prerogative of absolute truth.
But they do not know, because, in its own closed limit, that what they are looking outside of them, with these techniques, it is within them, in fact do nothing but create a vicious cycle with themselves, without ever going over ..
