As I have done for the past several years, I purchased several books to read during the Summer. The following is a list of those books, the authors, publishers, and number of pages.
Portable Darkness: An Aleister Crowley Reader, Scott Michaelsen, editor, Solar Books, 2006, 293 pages.
Sex and Rockets: The Occult World of Jack Parsons, John Carter, Feral House, 2004, 238 pages.
Unholy Alliance: A History of Nazi Involvement with the Occult, Peter Levenda, Continuum, 2007, 423 pages.
The SS Brotherhood of the Bell, Joseph P. Farrell, Adventures Unlimited Press, 2006, 459 pages.
The Stargate Conspiracy, Lynn Picknett & Clive Prince, Berkley Books, 1999, 425 pages.
Dark Mission: The Secret History of NASA, Richard C. Hoagland and Mike Bara, Feral House, 2007, 548 pages.
I Am a Strange Loop, Douglas Hofstadter, Basic Books, 2007, 412 pages.
Reflections on the Dawn of Consciousness, Marcel Kuijsten, editor, Julian Jaynes Society, 2008, 428 pages.
This looks to be an intimidating list, but it really doesn't take as long as one might think -- you just take them
ONE AT A TIME. (IMG:
