I put demon, but I disagree with your listing. I think demons are the one with free wills. The only reason they are mean or arrogant towards most ceremonial magicians is that they force them to appear and disrespect them so, just like a human, demons show them the same curtesy.

It is interesting that one demon in particular did everything I asked while the Solar Angels basically kicked my behind.

Therefore I have met an angelic demon and some demonic angels.

I believe that many Goetic spirits are misclassified as demons when actually they are more like forgotten Gods.

However this poll is set up under the Judeo / Christian / Islamic concept.

I was going to initially say angel, but I know there'd be times where I'd see something going on that I really didn't agree with, and so I'd feel a need to intervene and cause a disturbance. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

That's why I value Kali...the above concept more or less exemplifies my perspective. That the proverbial love and white light have their place, and most of the time are preferable...but that occasionally they need to be swapped out for the dark cowl a la Batman in order, in the words of Ra's Al Ghul, "to do what is necessary."

I want to emphasise however that I also feel that both ultimately serve the higher purpose, if they're done at times that are genuinely appropriate.

I've put it down to either Jinn or Angel.

I'm not bad at heart, but lack of free will would bother me. I have no problem with always doing the good thing, just that it might get boring, albeit rewarding.

This was a trick question. I mean look at the poll results. Who wants to have their free will contricted unless they know they will do evil and want to be an agel to keep themselves from doing such.

i find it interesting as i precive them to be the same thing.

in the judeo christian stories, satan/lucifer (I dont know wich one, they are used inter-changabley) was an angel who chose to disobey god since he hates humans.

in muslim stories, satan (Shaitan) was a jinn who disobeyed god since he hates humans.....

I don't have any sources or anything to comment on only in that I love to help people and have them feel happy and guide them through their life. I feel free will is something important to have, but for me I feel angels do have free will in that they're will is to help others so for them progression and development is not needed? Maybe im wrong I answered this question with my heart as I do not possess enough occult knowledge to give you a more deeper thought, I hope this gives value to the topic.

It is shown that angels have free will. Take Satan for example.
He chose to defy "God" and go against him, showing that angels can choose their path in existence.
The fallen angels fell because they chose to do something they know they shouldn't have, and became demons.
Demons, we know, have free will. The tales of demons show they can do as they please.
And of course the djinn. In the Qur'an, the djinn came before the humans, and also had free will.
The djinn were also worried for the humans, scared for what "God" and his angels had in stored for the humans.
But I digress.

I prefer the djinn existence over the others.

I actually don't know.... Angel maybe...
