Anyone Want A Public Or Private Tarot Reading?, up for grabs, just pm me. Options

I am looking to get practice with my deck, so just pm me or reply on this thread (if you aren't shy about that sort of stuff) if you are interested in getting a reading.

the other reason i want to do this, is to open this thread AS a public reading, where people who practice tarot and divination can add their own bit to the reading on a single person as we go along. for anyone who is NOT shy, and is ok with their information (depending on the question) being spread bare...that is the perfect candidate for a public reading. this particularly, unlike my private ones, may take a while to analyze (perhaps several days or sessions)...because each card is analyzed by itself and then as a whole. Its best if you don't try to ask a question that is pressed for time. I will try to include images of the cards i lay down but don't get excited just yet, i don't have access to a camera and my technical abilities are limited. furthermore, because my personal deck will not match the one i will be laying down for you graphically, outsider's perspectives will not necessarily match my own, but most of the time they will serve as complimentary information or even contrary. This is an experiment to see if the community can do a better job than a single person can at reading an individual's path. it is also a way to learn how to read the cards better, so feedback from outsiders is welcome! for whoever is receiving the reading, it is a way to weigh several different interpretations. The other element of tarot is offering basic advice that in other forms of divination is just not accessible. as a community, we would be advising you about the topic at hand. so again, just pm me...and don't expect me to read a stupid question either...you'd be surprised at how much the cards can read behind the sillyness and surprise you with an unexpected answer. in terms of a public reading, its best if you keep it fairly serious...in case later on you feel embarrassed or vulnerable by the answer you receive. at the end (and please, if you are the person seeking the answers, don't offer too much information until AFTER the final session) i would like you to reply and say if the reading helped you or if it didn't help you at all. just like any method of looking into the future, and reading the present...the answer you receive is not definite...so don't take it for black and white. otherwise, i think this could be fun and interesting and even helpful. -valkyrie

i would LOVE a reading, if you're offer is still up and to anyone. i've only ever had a tarot reading once, by a very good friend, and it was dead on.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohyeah.gif) i need a carefully chosen question from you, preferably not a dead yes or no question. relationship questions, spiritual questions, love or business questions, questions pertaining to life paths that you are traveling right now...any of these questions are appropriate. but i only need one, so choose the question wisely...and please use specific nouns...you don't have to use names but try not to use 'them, it, they, there, those, or that thing" as subject-nouns. its not for the cards...its for me. i hate reading blind. its kinda like driving blind...you can do it, and maybe even in a straight line, but eventually you will crash.

If you need more than one guinea pig I can also volunteer. It might be interesting and it is difficult to embarrass me. Work and such is doing fine, but my romantic relationships have mostly been more short term and casual than I would prefer. I don't have anyone specific in mind, but I do meet a lot of new people. How specific of a question do you need?

well, that question is acceptable...but it might come out sounding more like an astrology reading than a tarot reading (plus a year is a long time). Also, if there is a pressing question at the back of your mind that needs answering its best to be honest because the tarot will answer it regardless of the immediate question you posed (it will answer that question as well). However, this question you are offering me does not give me a connection with you. Offering me a specific question will allow me to choose the card, the significator/proxy, that connects the reading I am interpreting back to you. One other thing to tell you...tarot is not a reading of the future. Its a reading of the now, and the now's potential. Its very important for you to know that, because its meaning will hold no significance if you look at like a fortune reading. It DOES offer that sometimes, even quite frequently, but it is certainly not black and white about the future...for the most part it acts as a counseling session.

Otherwise, if you are content with that question vital winds, we can start with that...and allow the tarot to direct us. I will have to change my regular spread pattern to accommodate your request...and it will not be nearly as detailed as I assume you wanted but it will not be hard.

Sadly, I apologize...but when I posted this, I did not know I was going on a small trip for the weekend (not so sad for me:) ) and since I will not have access to a computer until then, it will be a mere couple days until I can resume our project. i promise, i am not a tease. i WILL do the readings, i just have to delay them. i will resume by tuesday.

Perhaps I can leave that up to your judgement. I'm not easily embarrassed as I said, but whichever format will give a clearer answer.

What I was thinking of is that I do meet a lot of women, but is there some sign or way that I could know that this particular woman is the right one for me besides the usual talking, weighing and evaluating her words, actions and energy? I suppose that I'm looking for some sign or omen perhaps.

well a more pressing question at the back of my mind is: will i meet the one i'm supposed to be with before i go into the marines, or am i supposed to wait? and if i do meet her, how will i know it's her? thats two questions really... but its one thought.... so will that work? if not, just "is she in my life already?" will do.

My question is a pretty general one. How may I best improve my current Financial situation in 2010? Most of the people on this board have a general idea of what I'm going through, but if you need me to elaborate, I will. My primary goals right now are to continue improving on the health front (it's slow going, but I'm getting better, and if any of you have sent me good thoughts, may you have many blessings in return) and find out how best to bring some more money in next. I know where I want to be, I'm just having a hard time getting there and I'd like to know what, if any, obstacles I need to remove or flow around next.

yeah sorry guys i haven't been on the internet for a LONG while and i am just back into the groove of things! ironic huh? its so much easier to do a reading on someone else then myself....otherwise i think i could have seen this thread nose diving...oh well. i suppose offer still stands but not until i get back from vacation. That'll be next week. Then I'll start pming people who are still interested.
