Fotamecus Question, What is the "range" of Fotamecus? Options

I've been reading about this viral time control servitor named Fotamecus. This is amazing to me and I'd like to start to work with Fotamecus, but I'm having trouble understanding how this works.
Fotamecus is supposed to either compress or expand time as needed, and then pass off the counteraction to another Fotamecus, or if you want you can just have the counteraction (If you expand time it compresses to balance out, and vice versa)

But my question is if I have Fotamecus expand time for me, how large of an area does it cover?
For example if I expand time, will it also expand for my friend who is a half mile away? If so, what about a mile or two?
I'm thinking about this basically as an aura around whoever expanded/compressed time, it doesn't really make sense.

From what you've said, it sound more like Fotamecus is closer to an actual spirit that a servitor. Hmm. If you've got its sigil, summon it and see what it has to say? That's how I'd go about it. Your mileage may vary, however.
