Tex. Please Advise, Scrying on Aethyr Options

Hello everyone,

Short pre history : I "came from" ouija board scrying using enochian to black mirror.

Yesterday i was trying to scry on TEX. It was 3 am , altar set up and prior the actual call i have performed all necessary (for myself) procedures to put my mind in a state. I was not tired as i had a nap before that.

The first time as i read the call i heard a whisper which was duplicating my own voice on the last sentence somewhere in far corner of the room and sudennly i felt hot like someone put me under the sun. When i finished i proceeded to the obsidian mirror. Saw ...disolved image of nothingness.
I have start to read call again. At that time point there was no whisper. I looked and looked and ...looked in the mirror and saw...nothing, But when i shut my eyes i saw white snow around and suddenly it has changed to fire with 4 shadowy figures inside it. I opened my eyes and felt that i can not do anything but sleep. I could not find any power to look at the mirror again and just completed my session.

I went to bed, shut my eyes and - white scratches before me like a strike of the lightning start coming from all directions.

My question is. What was that? As my vision was for 3 seconds only even not in the mirror so i can not adjust my mind and evaluate the expirience. I have never scryed on Aethyr before so i am unable to understand - should i proceed to 29? or re do the 30? Please advise. I am really confused here,

I have no idea as to your experience/knowledge of the occult arts so it is difficult to give you a comprehensive answer.
From what I can ascertain you have little basic groundwork for working the Enochian system. There are a number of good books/articles outlining the Enochian system. Therein the authors will give you an idea or loose framework of meditative guides through the Aethyrs. Since magic tends to be quite subjective, what you see during the working depends on a number of factors, yourself being the largest one. Using the Calls correctly will help corroborate others experiences with your own. Not using the system methods can be extremely unpredictable...and, possibly, dangerous. The first decent books I can think of are by the scheulers...though others here will disagree...needless to say, find yourself a good book that explains the ins and outs of Enochian magic (NOT a quick guide!!!) and meditate upon blending your needs/goals and the methods involved before taking the plunge. IMHO, of course! *grin*

Residual effects from the magic current you touched or stirred within yourself will reoccur unless you have properly banished or made provisions for an extended working. It takes intention to start the ball rolling! For some, I suspect like yourself, it takes only a nudge to get it started. By now you should have a way of stopping it or keeping it under control. Just a suggestion.

PS: I apologize if my post sounded or implied condescension in any way. I'm not here to judge. I love using a black mirror also and, in my youth, was fairly acquainted with a ouija board....

Your experience sounds about right for a first attempt at an aethyer. Here is something they do not tell you about scrying an aethyr, there is a big difference between scrying it and getting in the aethyr. The first few times you try, you will only be able to see into it, and not let in. Mark Stavish in "Between the Gates" says the aethyrs are a good way to test your initiatory level. If you try a aethyr that is beyond you, you will not be let in. He compares it to taking an elevator to a floor but cannot get off, only can see a bit before the doors shut again. This has been my experience and checking with others who have done a lot more enochian work, they have confirmed the same with me.

My advise is keep trying. It was my third or fourth attempt before I was let into TEX. The first few attempts were as you described, odd bits of visions that came on quickly and left quickly. Finally when I did get in, it was a completely different experience. You will find yourself almost physically there and can see and interact with the occupants. Also don't be concerned with the odd effects that accompany the reading of the call. That still happens to me as well, find my vision fades in and out as I read it and get odd physical and auditory phenomenon as well. Almost like pre-astral projection type sensations.

Also be sure to perform a thorough banishing before and after. You cannot banish an aethyr, the effect just has to ware off, but attempts to get in do seem to attract some nastiness to you. That has been my experience as well. Good luck!

I did not mention that I am not complete beginner in enochian but hardly magician yet. Aethyrs are my first attempt to actually scrying on mirror and as I said before it was confusing...

I have got a pretty good enochian library on 2 languages (for better understanding) but unfortunately theory is theory and practice is a bit different area. Most of authors of such a books are sharing the nice portion of the visible pie but the actual flavor is unknown.

This is one thing I've been wondering about. On the "Five Books of Mystery" when Dee asks
Uriel about contacting Michael whether there is a specific time when it should be done Uriel responds
"every hour is our hour". I wonder if this was meant to apply only to Uriel and Michael or to enochian magic as a whole?

Just before i have been interrupted by the tom cats which were fighting with agonizing screams in my garden i saw that:

"Woody"-brown tinted symbol; it was moving not on full circle but as wind playing with it.

If you recognize it give me a clue please.

Not really poking fun, but bear in mind magick, especially working with the aethyrs is highly personal. It is very rare someone other than yourself can discern the symbolism involved. Kind of like a dream.

I would also agree that the Scheuler's books are very good regarding the aethyrs. I have been to Tex several times in my OBE's. It is the same place as the lower part of Malkuth, though the lessons we learn there are of different kind. I am new in this forum. I found it interesting. Regards to all.

I had a dream (OK, it was an acid trip) once where I saw this symbol or a similar trident-shape. It was toward the end of my uh, dream when I came to it. I was led to believe that it was the place where all things originated, or emanated from. It was the beginning. It was also very scary in a way I can only describe as primordial. I kept singing Faith by The Cure to kind of bring me down. "Nothing left but faith," as Robert sings/wrote it was very reassuring because there was nothing left after this symbal (Y). YMMV.
