Horus & Lucifer, Is it true...? Options

There are rumors about Horus being Lucifer,and something related to the name of lucifer morning star,which it is said to be related to Horus too,I feel this is wrong because,Lucifer is evil according to christian mythology but Horus is the Good part in the story of Osiris and seth.plus Horus is not vain,as christiabity says about lucifer.

Are you speaking about Horus the Elder or the son?
IMHO, there is absolutely no connection between Horus and Lucifer.
Now there are many tales of the rivalry between Horus and Set, though to demonize Set isn't quite correct either. He was revered in parts of Egypt, being representative of the desert storm, mighty against Apep on the Boat and one of the few Neter capable of handling iron (meteoric).
Lucifer as well has been demonized and isn;t necessarily evil though he has been referenced with Satan.
There is alot of Newage floating around out there. Give your bibliographies a good lookover. Anything printed within the last thirty years can be suspect. Not all but some.

well this might be true in a sense that christianity is a version of the egyptian religion....maybe,who knows....

Lucifer is actually a Roman god. He was Diana's brother/lover. He is equivolent to the Greek god Phosphorus.

Christian myth does have a good bit of Egyptian in it, Amen was the great god in Egypt also called Ammon or Amun (there are many other spellings and pronounciations). So when Christians end a prayer with Amen they're actually praying to an Egyptian god. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/Laie_58.gif)
