Any Advice About 'server Not Available' Messages?, My browsers are confused... Options

Hi everybody,

These last several days I've been having problems accessing this site. Both Internet Explorer and Firefox tell me at times, usually for hours at a stretch, that they can't find the the 'Sacred-Magick.org' Server. But Webmaster .:Jim( a really nice guy!) told me there was no problem with the server during the times I can't connect.

'Sacred-Magick' is the only site I have this problem with. Every other website I try to access connects. I tried deleting my cookies and caches, and even experimented with turning off my firewalls temporarily, and nothing worked.

Frankly, I'm seriously considering the possibility that this is some kind of Karmic backlash or something. If any of you have any advice on things I might try to fix this problem, please let me know.

P.S. And at other times, I start up my computer, and the sites easily accessible. I can't think that I did anything different these times...

P.P.S.(Off Topic) Dear Moderators, is there any way I can apply for blog access before I reach 30 posts? I know you want to maintain quality control, but 30 posts seems like forever, lol:)

it could depend on which region you live around the globe and how your ISP forwards your requests to the Domain names. If you say this happens only for SM, then i guess that you are located in a region that is a long IP route away from the server. But to tell you before yeaterday and some days back SM was not accessible to me too.. So ultimtely there might be no prob as such relative only to you...

And for the 30 posts, be creative (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blablabla.gif) its not that long you are past halfway there...

Just a quick note to say 'Thank you, Mystick!' It was very kind of you to reply to me, and while I'm sad others had trouble accessing SM, it's a relief to know that it might just be 'one of those things' and not something that will be happening to us all the time.

I have the same trouble at times...*sigh* Try rebooting your modem, though that rarely works...call it the quirk in the system!
As far as the thirty posts go...we are sticking to the rules! If all you want here is to use the Blog feature then may I suggest you look elsewhere. Don't get me wrong, we love our members and we try to facilitate discussions of an occult nature whereas some really just want to vent. If you can vent occult discussions then we are here!

On a side note, you may try following a number of threads dealing with 'the dark night of the soul' ( http://www.sacred-magick.org/index.php?sho...&hl=dark+night), you may find that you are amoungst others with similar concerns...be well! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/00000002.gif)
