Anyone on this forum who practices Conjure? (hoodoo)

I am a two-headed doctor working with both the right and left handed arm of Conjure. I started rootwork a few years ago and some newly appointed spirits have helped me gain more knowlege, power, and guidence just a few months ago. I learn something new everyday, and would love to know if theirs anyone at all who has any experience.

Best regards,

-Rickets

I have not worked with Hoodoo but i have been doing some work and reasearch (in the oposite order though) in Brazilian Macumba and a most likely very western styled version of Kimbanda and Voudoun.

Less roots perhaps but at least it is of African origin.
If i took it up again today i would most likely get it more "original" with less
western trappings.

Then again, the traditions are allready Syncretic.
Still, i would prefer to have it all more "Brazilian" or "Haitian" if i did it today without claiming to have the knowledge
of those living with the Cultures.

The most Kongo i´ve gotten is looking into Palo Mayombe a bit closer.
I have read some on Hoodoo and Kongo too but not enough (Hoodoo originated in Kongo as opose to Voodoo).

Yes I have started rootwork in New Zealand of all places, but the spirits seem to appreciate the effort...I can only hope I am not the only "two headed" gris gris carrier on this island, but it may well be the case. Greets none the less!
