Greetings Dilweed,
There are usual paths to be followed when you join the Forum. One is to introduce oneself and fill out a profile page. Alas, not many, of late, bother with doing this. Another is to actually do some research here on site and find the pertinent information before drawling out the request, "Hey, I'm new and I want to summon (add demon name here) can you-all give me anything/everything I'll need to do this?" There are rules found posted under the guidelines and at the beginning of each Forum section that, once read, will help you to navigate the site. There is also just common courtesy. Some of our members have spent years practicing their craft and when someone who adopts a nomiker of 'Dilweed' (which I understand is not something one who would like to garner respect uses) brazenly demands help using poor grammar and 'lazy-speak' in their writing one feels less inclined to be helpful and more inclined toward ignoring you. So...shall we start anew?

I've researched Voxx and some of her claims are sketchy...especially when she is only 31 and has worked with some of the biggies in the industry. She's in it for the cash. Period. (AOSpare is, btw, quite dead even though he pertains to having a myspace account.) If you paid $500 for a 'Goetia kit' then your chances of success in this endeavor is looking rather dim. I have this great bridge in Brooklyn...well, you know the rest! Please take the time and effort to show us that you are serious and we'll be very helpful. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/diablo.gif)

But im confused some people tell i have to place a scrying mirror in the triangle and others dont. I think im going to use the mirror just to be safe. now in regards to the ceremonial clothes

I'm assuming you've read the class lesson on the forum regarding the goetia and the Q&A, that follows the traditional/purist method. What text are you working from Crowley, Peterson, White, Runyon, Rudd (Rankine/Skinner) et al? You've ordered your circle and triangle? What was wrong with creating your own? In my opinion doing the necessary work is part of the journey to understanding.

I advise you to read the text again. The black cock is used in the creation of the brass vessel, and not requirement for the evocation of the spirit, unless you wish to bind it to said vessel.

There are varied ways to evoke/contact spirits goetic or otherwise. and no doubt people use all sorts of methods. In my opinion all the tools indicated are warranted and serve a purpose. Though you could substitute the lion skin belt for the skin of a Arieh : ) . But seriously, its a question you must answer yourself, after some more research.

It's hard to keep a running tab on the price of things when accumulating them over time, but I thought it might be interesting to see how much this stuff actually costs. This is NOT a "price list" and if you ask me to make these things for you, I will ignore you, but in the interest of understanding the expenses involved, here goes. This list presupposes (as in the post) that you want to conjure Furcas.

White Linen (3 yards) $30.00
Silver Disc Ring $50.00
Spirit Medallion (lead) $10
Brazier, Coal, Incense $50
Sword $75
Chain $10
Ebony Box $50
Anointing Oil $20
Candles & Stands $20

This is a fairly basic list, with very "approximate" expected expenses. If you want to make things yourself, add on at least another $300 for a sewing machine, a pen engraver, a propane torch to melt the lead, and maybe more. If you have others do it for you, expect to pay more for their services. What is your time worth? Add to this the expense of a fabric floor mat circle, the animal products which vary in value, and several other possible expenses. Consider that this represents a basic assessment of the costs and that if you want something with quality (like a sword worth using in combat, or a karat gold ring, or even nice candle stands), then you will be paying more. With that in mind, I can say confidently that either the site you reference is selling goods of inferior quality, that they omit most items, or that it is purely charitable. On that note, I might mention that I have found no online sellers of 100% linen robes in any color for ritual use. You can get a bath robe, or a liturgical outfit, but to my knowledge nobody sells magician's robes in white linen.

Greetings!
Although my initial response to this was strained, I was hoping that a few of the more serious practioners would take the time to respond. You haven't disappointed me.

There is a remarkable benefit from making your own instruments. It helps to impress and cement the bond with the magician to the principles that underlie the tool. Anytime that you can involve your own sweat and creativity into your practice you will obtain better results. Anyone (with money) can buy what is touted to be a magical instrument/tool but not everyone will be able to make it work. Why is that? You should reflect upon that for a while before answering. Some of the skills I once yearned for by the actions of evocation were not supplied me by the entity involved but rather by the hard journey it took to get me there. Dilweed, please take time to look over Imperial Arts class. It will be well worth your while. Loki and a few others are also knowledgable in the field as well and have worked quite diligently with this Art. Good journey and good luck! (Though, good work is perhaps even more to the point!)

Let me hasten to add that I've made my triangle out of cardboard or drawn it in chalk on the ground, my seals out of polymer clay, and for a brazier I use a pottery vessel a friend made back in high school, and a wand/scepter I made myself from a wooden dowel, copper wire, and some crystals. My ring is a silver ring with kittens on it that I always wear, along with my other rings w/jewels I don't take off. Nothing's eaten me and I've come out just fine.

In my experience, this system is actually a lot more open-ended than a lot of people realise. So if you have to make some things yourself from stuff you find around the house or at the craft store, that's OK too. Like Bym said, the work you put into your tools will eventually pay off as it forces you to think about what you're doing and why. You can always upgrade your tools later. Also, if you *really* need something, it often finds a way to find you, so keep this in mind as well.

Good luck and happy conjuring...

If you want to do the sigils in gold, as many insist of doing so, consider the following option:

You can find rather cheap golden leaf booklets in various places that sell stuff for fine arts. A booklet costs about 25$ (or €), and it includes 25 golden leaves. They are not big though, but they are fine to create a sigil out of them.

I have thought three ways to engrave all appropriate sigils upon them:

a) Just engrave it upon the leaf and then cut it in the shape that you desire (maybe circular).
The drawbacks here are that each leaf is extremely thin and I'm not sure if you can engrave something upon them without destroying them.

b) Take two leaves for each sigil, pierce the upper one with all that you wish to engrave and then stick it on the second leaf.

and last, which I prefer the most though,
c) Take two leaves again, cut all re required shapes from one leaf and just stick them to the one.
The last one is the most difficult of all, because it will require extreme caution while cutting.
