Hello everybody, I've been trying this for a few months now but never succeeded and I would like to know from everyone, what's the longest time you've been out of body? I just want to know what to expect, thanks for all posts!

ITs difficult for me to really say because I tend to loose track of time - on purpose. If I try to make sure I opperate within a specific time schedual I feel like I need to hurry or function within that time frame in away that is constraning. The idea is to fully allow myself to become relaxed and able to enter a state of trance where I retain consciousness but am able to begin transfering my mind to the astral plains. If I really had to gesture a guess as to how long a full astral projection ritual lasted I would have to no more than 3 hours. Now thats counting the time it took to prepare, relax, meditate and astral project. The AP itself probably took a lot less time. But like I said I tend to loose track of time. Sometimes it seems like an AP experience has lasted for hours when really only a half and hour or so has elapsed.
I managed 15 minutes. but came back because I realized I was being smothered in my own pillow!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/5.gif)
