Now im almost certain there exist substances that can bring on psychic abilities and open your mind up to the occult but can they really be selling this shit openly over the internet without being criminalized by the government?

http://www.magneurol.com/benefits_astralprojection.html

Why do drugs such as psychedelics which happen to be the least addictive and least harmful happen to be the most illegal drugs out there? The government doesnt want people opening their minds to the occult. It makes them harder to control and thats bad for business.

Either way since I have a natural talent for chemistry and am planning on becoming a chemist in the near future im gonna study this magnetite stuff. Maybe theres potential in synthesising magnetite like compounds in the future. One of my most crazy and unrealistic ambitions is to discover a substance which opens a sixth sense in people. Maybe its not so crazy and unrealistic afterall.

Since alot of paranormal phenomenon is supposedly linked to the electromagnetic spectrum its not that crazy thinking that magnetite which enables animals to percieve magnetic fields could open your mind to other occult phenomena.

Greetings!
LOL! Please don't get all bent about this product! They are merely selling you B vitamins plus a magnetic salt/compound of iron. BTW...alot of men will not like this supplement at all! Iron , when introduced in the body as a supplement, gives men a stomach ache! Women, due to their particular body chemistry, can stand iron supplements. Magnetite is a ferrous mineral that happens to be magnetic. Hmmm........your blood has an iron molecule within the haemoglobin. There may be a smidgin of correlation between awareness and magnetics but that would also suggest that you could gain new levels of awareness by either wearing or holding onto a magnetic object! There are possibilities! BUT this product is appealing to your (not YOU in particular) inner security, greed and self esteem issues to sell you overinflated priced vitamens! They cite fantasy chemistry from Star Wars and Dune to make their point. Even though there may be a small connection with awareness and magnetics you shouldn't run out and give away your hard earned money for a possibility at enhanced awareness and , most likely, a stomach ache! ALWAYS check with your physician before embarking on a nutritional supplement program (I prefer a Naturopath)...it makes good, common sense and could save you from getting sick!
Our government has substances that make this stuff look like Flintstone vitamens when it comes to affecting mental awareness. Pemoline Magnesium is a good starting place...take a walk through Erowids Drug Vault for some rather eye opening reading! Become well informed!
Other than that....have I got a bridge for you....... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif)

I havent looked at erowid in ages. I'll take a look at this permoline magnesium stuff. Never even heard of it. You seem to know a good bit about ESP inducing chemicals. Have you ever tried datura?

I love the avatar ledbelly418!
Yes I've tried Datura(s) in the form of decoction/tea, cigarette, crushed seed in gelatin capsule and as an inhalant (it was once a popular asthma reliever and was marketed as a medicinal incense). I've tried D. metel, D. Stramonium and another "devils trumpet".... I did not like it. ANY of it! The alkaloids in it can kill you! We hear the romanticised version of Datura usage from books like Castenada series or blurbs from those who took it in a coming-of-age ritual with a South American tribal shaman. What is left out of these tales are the very real accounts of absolute nausea and convulsions and sometimes, death. Remember that just because one that ingests some of these substances one does not always experience an enlightening awareness boost or even getting 'high'.
There are far safer drugs than those of the Nightshade family if you are looking for insights andor to get high. 5-MEO-DMT is still legal and it is an OVERWHELMING psychedelic that is very short lived (20 minutes to 3-4 hours). Its close cousin, DMT (dimethyltryptamine) is illegal in the USof A and is also an ingredient in the fabled Ayahuasca and Yopo snuffs. Please do your homework. Research before experimenting. Crude herbal concoctions can be dangerous because you do noy know how much of the actual substance is in your hands...
I could probably write a book about this stuff...but don't take my word for it...study up!
The list of drugs/substances that I've found helpful are thus:
a. Marijuana or hashish - illegal in USA - cannabinoids
b. psilocybin mushrooms - illegal in USA - psilocin/pscilocybin
c. salvia divinorum - still legal- salinorvinA
d. passionflower or syrian rue seeds for the harmala alkaloids - still legal - harmala alkaloid
e. opium - illegal in USA- a bloody host of alkaloids
f. calea - still legal - unknown principle
g. scotch broom - still legal- cytesine(sp?)
h. reed canary grass - still legal- DMT and other tryptamines
i. L-Tryptophan - controlled amino acid, very mushroomy
j. Alcohol - legal and too available!
k. LSD - illegal in the USA
l. cacao - legal everywhere - chocolate! Theobromine.....buzzzzzzzzz!
m. caffeine - legal -coffee, tea, chocolate, etc.
Well that's all for now. Geeesh! What we won't do for getting buzzed.
Next we should explore the deleterious effects these substances have on the energy system of the body! WOW! You won't like to hear that! LOL!
CAUTION, some people shouldn't experiment with mind altering drugs....at all! Simply put, anything except clean air and water and good food shouldn't be indulged in for optimal results! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/33.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/insane.gif)

Theres very few people on this planet that have had pleasant or enlightening experiences with datura or other tropane alkaloids. I tried my own homegrown d. stramonium but strangely enough it had no effect on me. I should probably be glad about that.

Ive had large doses of mushrooms and salvia but ive yet to try DMT. Its hard to believe that in this day and age you can legally purchase the ingredients for the most powerful hallucinogen known to man. Ayahuasca. Im going to take it in the near future but id much rather do it in a jungle setting with an ayahuasquero than at home with friends.

Have you tried all those substances you listed?? What did you do with the phalaris grass? I find that stuff near to impossible to extract spice from and consider it useless but other people claim it can be done.

Also in what ways do alcohol and opium help you? To me they cut off ESP if anything.

Id have to disagree with you when you say some people shouldnt take any mind altering substances whatsoever. Different people react to different substances differently. Some people shouldnt drink, some people shouldnt take amphetamines, some shouldnt take opiates. Everyones different. With the exception of people with mental illnesses that it. In my opinion drugs only fuel psychological problems.

In my case every substances goes well with me but some have some seriously negative effects such as cannabis. From smoking weed for so long it started to induce extreme laziness, paranoia and even psychosis in me so I quit.

Probably due to the fact your astral body is - supposedly - held to your body by magnet fields...it's meant to be the case that your body has magnet fields about it, thus if you take those drugs perhaps it may have a 'repelling of magnets' effect. I do not know entirely. http://www.astralvoyage.com/projection/guide.html
this site makes mention someplace of magnetism and astral projection - basically stating your astral body is held in your physical body by a form of magnetism.

Greetings,

I am with BYM on this. I smell a bunch of baloney. With chocolate poo poo sprinkles. Its totally scam-dalous. Of course if you believe its going to work enter the placebo effect.

By the way I have these pills that increase magick power 10 fold in 15 minutes. I am selling for $1000.00 a pill. Anyone interested?

Oooo, put me down for two!

If it sounds like it's a scam, that's because it is. Which is really disappointing, too. I tried a bottle, a while back, while I was taking an interest in Eric Pepin's meditation program. I got meager results from his cds (which I downloaded 'legally') although they involve the binaural technology so they put you in a trance fairly easily. Anyway, since the cds seemed to be worth something, I ordered a bottle of the magneurol. I had to cut down on iron in my diet to safely accomodate the iron in the pills, but ultimately had no great effect. I'm no more sensitive to magnetic fields now than I was when i started. I heard the same from a great many other people as well, if you google 'magneurol' 'review' and 'forum' you can find loads of discussion on the topic at a few forums. I can't remember where they were when i was researching.

Personally I believe that experience is the only good judge on these matters. If the theory seems plausible, then what's the harm? But in this case, it's a bust. While it's possible magnetitum can have such an affect on the brain, just because you have it in your bloodstream from a pill doesn't mean it will settle in the brain.

Being the MOST electrical organ bathed constantly in a magnetic field, I can't see, in retrospect, how adding magnetic material to the brain would do anything to sensitize it to magnetic fields. If anything that should dampen the sensitivity, as magnetic and electric tend to hinder one another, if i'm not mistaken. Edunpanna, any thoughts?

peace

Greetings,

I think what you are looking for here is actually Melatonin. Its only $5.99 a bottle at Rite Aid. I suppose Eckerd and Duane Reade have it also. Its a sleep supplement but they keep it in the vitamin section instead of the sleep aid section.

Melatonin is called the vampire drug because it is only secreted by the body at night. I have insomnia so it greatly helps me. Unlike most sleep aids when combined with alcohol it does not damage the liver.

There is a high content of Melatonin and Iron in menstrual blood. Priests once drank menstral blood because they believed that it increased magick power. With some clever googling while researching sleep aids I found that melatonin is believed by many to increase psychic powers and increase dreaming.

So far I have not picked the winning lottery tickets but I have been dreaming my a$$ off for two years since I began taking this stuff. Am I any more psychic than before? How does one measure such things?

I would think that melatonin might help getting into the astral because of its very dreamy nature. Its strong stuff I take 18 mg a night. Recommended dose is 3 mg. I find that if I take 21 mg I have trouble waking up.

There are some studies which indicate that melatonin increases levels of seretonin. Thats the stuff that you think with. When you have low levels of it you get depressed.

I also take 500 mg of Valerian a night. Which is something I began taking recently. It also increases dreaming. It seems to sedate me a bit during the day also, Kinda like Valium. hmmmmmmmm. If I take 1000 mgg of Valerian I get so sedated the next day I am stupid. My wife experienced the same thing with it. I am overly hyper to begin with and prone to slam people on thier heads in the snow. So sedated is not exactly a bad thing for me. 1000 mg is too much however.

If you are taking tranquilizers sedatives or antidepressants then you should contact a doctor before taking Melatonin. I like the claims that it produces psychic powers. Although I seem unable to use telekinesis to levitate my coffee cup this morning. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Peace!
