This book is about to be launched in the next 2-3 weeks, and I urge everyone practicing in the Western Esoteric Tradition to buy a copy.
Being a student of the author, I have already read a copy. And while this raving review may indeed be biased, that does not change the fact that this book is going to raise a fabulous shit storm among the esoteric community (similar to that raised by Lisiewski). A shit storm that'll be interesting to watch (IMG:

I consider myself a pretty good judge of character and a keen intelligence when it comes to the esoteric, so I do not believe I am exaggerating when I say that I consider Rubaphilos to be a genuine adept in the deepest sense of that word. So I mean what I say when I say that this series of books (Hermes Paradigm is to be the first in a series of 12 books) will I think be the most important Hermetic and alchemical texts to come out to the public in the last century, at least.
The book contains 3 core aspects: a very clear, precise definition and explanation of alchemy, the Great Work and the process of initiation that IMHO clears up a lot of misunderstanding and confusion (for instance, the astute reader will readily understand why the white powder gold hype has nothing to do with genuine alchemy); a brief history of the Hermetic tradition in general and what is called the "inner stream" in particular (and it is this part that will have a lot of people flaming) (IMG:

My feeling is that a lot of people will get caught up in the second aspect without perhaps having a whole to say about the third. This is because I do not believe there is a more illuminating commentary on the Tablet than this one, besides of course the Golden Chain of Homer.
Anyway, that is all I will say for now, but if anyone here buys this book, we could get a very interesting thread going. I would be very interested to hear what other people think.
