(IMG: style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Greetings! Mediocracy, how was the Temple Ritual? Is there any notable occurrences during the ritual worth a mention here? Perhaps the ritual itself could be outlined? ~ I was able to undertake a meditation during Saturday afternoon NZ time ... approx 3am UK time ... I projected myself to as near to the temple ritual event as I could ... but because I'd not undertaken a ritual myself ... I found myself standing in the trees overlooking a clearing. As I watched ... I saw the temple itself slowly begin to appear ... built from bottom to top out of thin air ... like an artist painting the air with an airbrush.
I found I was able then to venture up the steps to the top ... I then found I had a torch in my right hand ... and ventured down into the bowels of the temple ... I could see there was two chambers ... I chose the chamber to my right ... I became aware then of a presence on the threshold as I stepped into the chamber ... a being of some magnitude ... angelic/daemonic it was both and everything awaiting an identity ... It was not my place to give it a name for this was to be the deity as I understood ...
I then saw the altar in front of me ... a rectangular altar of stone ... I placed some dried flowers on the altar ... and I burnt some incense ... sandlewood and sage ... behind the altar I visualised a statute ... I stood there for a while and felt an energy forming ... an energy of all the ancient peoples who would have used a temple like this ....
I then turned to leave and made my way out of the temple ....

Greetings! I performed the necessary rituals on Saturday, July 2nd at 5PM EST. As I was not home things were abit odd but nonetheless! not bad... I arrived at what appeared to be a clearing with my saurian flyer and found myself within a circle of what I took to be participants (imagery of people, mostly half-formed or of alternate shapes...) We all stood in a large ring and the temple flickered in and out of sight...finally taking the shape shown in the photo...I then walked up the steps and entered the top. I tried to envision the inside as a large, horizontal, smoking mirror...reflecting the ceiling which was, at times, there as an inverted bowl with star patterns or no roof, just open aired with the stars shining above. There were 4 pillars at the corners of the mirror which had censer braziers either on top or near the bases....alot of conflicting changes...probably due to so many minds pushing around the astral light... I could bring up visions within the mirror... I didn't really go down into the pyramid but rather worked on the upper chamber. I left when I got tired, taking me and His Nibs home. I charged a sigil pattern that I drew on the paper pyramid and then burnt it as required....funny how it smelled of incense when I didn't burn any during the ritual. All in all, a good start. I plan on returning to do some more work. Thanks to Mediocracy for setting up the ritual and to SmokingFox for the visuals and Mr_Merlin for the idea! And to all of you who participated! Well, I did my best to meditate, and I think I did well. I imagined the sigil and the image of the temple in my head, did some chanting, burned incence and a candle. I channeled some memories of having visited and climbed a real Mayan pyramid in Chichen Itza near Cancun- my family had been lucky enough to visit just before they closed the building to the public. What was most memorable, both then and now, was the dizzying steepness of the steps; I'm not normally afraid of heights, but this was pretty frightening. Anyway, inside the chamber at the top, I did get a sense of other people being there, including my personal diety. I hope he didn't offend anyone. I made some offerings, sat contemplating awhile, and then burned the sigil and the paper pyramid (came close to burning my carpet too, but didn't (IMG: style_emoticons/default/flame.gif) ).

Greetings! If you are truly interested in viewing the Temple and find yourselves at odds upon transportation may I suggest an old 'shamanic' method? This is a loose framework/guide...you may find an easier or better suited way.
Find yourself a spot where you can be alone without fear of disturbance. Make yourself comfortable. If you can, you may burn alittle incense though this is not necessary! Relax, close your eyes. I find that brilliant sun is not conducive to mental traveling...but you must discover what works for you. Imagine (this is the important step) the Temple sigil as clearly as you can. I like to induce a light trance at this stage. A favored method would be to imagine this sigil as something embossed or painted on a big door. Once you have fixed the sigil in your minds eye, then slowly open the door and step through, onto a path in the jungle (or some sort of path). Note your surroundings. Walk down the path until you come to the Temple clearing. You are at the foot of the pyramid. Note wether or not it is night or day, the sky and the surrounding environment. Climb the pyramid steps until you reach the top. Note again your surroundings. You may continue at this point or, what I recommend for beginners, is to turn around and go back...the way you came...taking time to note your surroundings. go back to the door, step through and CLOSE the door. Open your eyes, stretch, eat alittle or drink something. Do something totally mundane. Make a log of your journey, try to remember what your minds eye saw and make a note in your journal. If you meet any animals or people whilst journeying, take notes and deal with them on your second journey. Note: Whilst you are enroute and during this journey, you will be safe from harm though if you wish to pack some protection, go for it. Make close note of any animal that presents itself to you in at least three separate instances/views...they may be a power animal. If you find yourself in a frightening situation or in danger, wake yourself up! This is a form of shamanic journey that is quick and somewhat fool proof. It is a form of mental travel and guided trance pathworking. Happy Trails! Most Shamanic methods don't involve alot of props and are therefore handy when it comes to strict parents. Journeying is usually accompanied by drum beats and/or rattling. This is not mandatory!

Greetings Gang!! Who's been to the Sacred Magick Temple recently? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/cry_.gif) I ventured to it quite recently ... found the clearing and wandered the familiar path. Gazed across at the familiar mountainside ... and reached the entrance to the temple. Climbed down the stairs to the first chamber and (IMG: style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) and found it in a total mess ....... At first I interpreted it to be my own perception of the temple. So I tied it up. I tidied up the place and revitalised the space and proceeded to the 2nd chamber. I found it in similar disarray ... tied here too. Then wandered back outside to feel the energy of the moon as it had become night fall. It was then I perceived that the collective temple ... the interface between all the visiting members was dissolving in some way .... I perceived it rarely gets any visits (if at all). I wondered if the temple has any use at all these days?

Well, this is my experience as follows. I warn you guys I didn't read anything describing the astrial temple before I went there so I had a clear head-space to start with, and I'm not much of a writer so bear with me.
I focused on the Sigil and remembered it, thinking on it when I got ready for bed (this is generally the time when I go out). Laying down I collected some of my friendly spirits to bridge the journey with me.
I opened the portal, punched in the Sigil and waited, the doorway showed up but wouldn't let me through. It took a little bit of time for me to open the door, there was a bit of decoding and recognizing, from both me and the door. The door finally opened and I stepped through, revealing a vast green hilly landscape with a Large pseudo Aztec temple under a starry sky. The pathway leading up to the steps had square like stepping stones that fit together like a puzzle, some were large squares while others were small, there was a mossy sheen over the entire pathway with patches of grass growing in the cracks. Rectangular shrubs grew parallel to the pathway about a meter and a half long, a half a meter wide, and about a meter tall; they were roughly a meter and a half in distance from one to the next. The stairs to the temple were covered in moss, and the temple itself had the same square-puzzle stonework look to it as the pathway did. Several large steps leading to the very top with a huge staircase down the middle.
For whatever reason I had the feeling the Temple was facing east. Walking up the steps to the little square top (I didn't care to count the steps) I noticed the door was open. Inside there were torches, two to each wall that didn't let off any smoke. A stairway from the middle of the room led below and winded along the outer wall (if the temple was facing east, the stairway would at first go south and wind around the wall in a clockwise motion, south, west, north ,east etc.) The stairs led to a large temple hallway where the walls were slightly slanted and there was an obsidian-looking square on the lower-middle of each wall about two meters across. In the middle of the room there was a large fire that was in the an indented cube in the ground, a golden quad-pod stood on the top of the middle square and stood about a half a meter above the fire. The quad-pod carried a large clear orb. I left the orb alone and extended my senses looking for another stairway. There was indeed another stairway hidden on the opposite side of the stairway I came down in the first place, and there was a small stone I had to push near the hidden stairway to reveal it.
Down the second flight of stairs there were no more torches, it was pitch black (long story short I figured out a way to light my path). In the bottom corridor the steps were made out of the similar stone as the temple, when the stairs finally stopped the stone continued for a little bit and then like a gradient turned into that smooth obsidian on wall, ceiling, and floor. Eventually the corridor led to a pitfall, I extended my senses again and found that this pitfall was the continuation of the corridor. I threw down my lighting source and found the fall to be about three stories, I jumped down. The pathway continued down and forked at perpendicular angles. I first went left and that brought me to a closed door with a Jackal or large cat on the door, I found the lock on the right side of the wall and toyed with it until it opened. Inside there was a man sitting on the ground with short mop-brown hair that was rather surprised to see me, he asked me a series of questions wondering how I got to this chamber, there was a red carpet with a blue pillow on top he seemed to use for meditating but not much else in the room. I noticed the room had the stonework, instead of the obsidian looking stuff in the corridor. I left the guy a-wonderin and shut the door behind me. I went back and tried the other way exactly like the other corridor, there was a door with a big toothed something on it, this door was a little easier to open. Inside there was a man meditating on a large throne-like chair, they didn't seem to notice me. Behind them there was an alter and a picture hanging above it, I couldn't quite make out. To my right looking in the room there was a chest. A few torches dotted the room. I shut the door heading back the way I came.
About midway to the pitfall I had this striking feeling I was near another doorway, I extended my senses and found one a little closer to the pitfall than the forking pathways. There wasn't a lock on this door but the door was well hidden. The stairs were very steep leading down and down, the corridor turned back into stone after awhile, and the path kept getting brighter. Eventually this led me to a gigantic door with a large Aztec snake-thing on it. I looked it up and down but couldn't find the switch anywhere, so I asked my entity "You know how to open this thing?" he replied with a simple "yes" and the door clicked open. Inside there was a huge servitor, when he spoke the words echoed on the walls, "What are you doing here?" he boomed. I asked if he minded if I smoked and he didn't seem to mind, so I lit myself up a cigarette. Looking around the room I realized that this chamber was the biggest one I've come across in the temple thus far. After a long conversation with the entity we both realized fist-to-cuffs weren't necessary. I thought about leaving but I decided to ask him one more question, "Oh and by the way, are there any more chambers that might be of interest to me?" he furrowed his brow and thumbed the area behind him, revealing another passageway. "Thanks" I said, waving at him.
This pathway like the other one was stone, and had even steeper stairs than the last, the path kept getting darker and darker when finally even my light wouldn't even hold up at all. I took one more step forward and my foot landed in a big gooey marsh-like puddle. The surrounding area immediately smelled of mud and stagnant water, I ventured on. After about forty or so paces I heard a "Halt who goes there!" coming from somewhere ahead of me in the dark. "That's a rather silly thing to ask someone when you're standing in the dark yourself" I said. I heard him shuffle in place "Good point" he added. I stood still and looked in his general direction "The big guy upstairs said I could come down here," I started shuffling towards his general direction. "Ah, alright come on over. No funny stuff ye hear me?" There was a muddy hill protruding out of the swamp that felt like it had grass on it. Again the light started growing to a very dull candle glow, there was a tent like thing and I could now see the swamp all around me but the light didn't go far enough for me to see the walls. A guy standing in knights armor with a kind of egg-head helmet beckoned me over. He gave me a firm look as I peered in the tent. Inside I saw it was brighter but it was still a very dim light. There was a small bald man sitting in the middle of the tent cross legged, the floor was grassy and not much else was inside. I thanked the guard and left.
Eventually I made it back to the top, and shut the main door: I figured someone may have left it open.
And that's it, let me know what you guys think.

http://users.skynet.be/yoyodim/sigils/temple.htmthink aztek temple in a clearing wait, i'll put a heart-light on it so that non-astral-projectors can come too (unless there is objection to this) as for color, how bout that funky green of the symbol - very atomic feeling look sideways through space and time to see the beating heart-light of that green funky atomic color the heart-light is in-extinguishable and very distinctive, sounding its beat throughout time and all space, including all the astral and earthy layers with the heart-light comes a shield that walls out all those things that do not beat in time to the heart-light the heart-light also brings in air (and a power), and it walls out anything that is not in agreement with the sigil give it a try now 1) trance out 2) remember and visualize the sigil - the funky green color and atomicy/sciencey feeling of the sigil 3) look sideways across space and time for the heart-light beating like a pulsating star - there are many heart-lights, so find the one with the right color and sigil on it 4) be drawn by it to the place - you are well protected as long as you are beating in accordance with the sigil there is not a soul around (even if there was, you'd still be/feel alone), so take your time and look around and absorb some energy from the place stand in the clearing and look around, and ask yourself the question of the 5 senses: taste - draw in the air (it is energized by the heart-light, so it is probably a bit thick) - how does it taste? - is it in accordance with the sigil, or not? touch - kneel down and touch the ground and any one of the stones - how does it feel? - what is its texture? hearing - listen intently - past the reassuring visceral throb of the heart-light - hear the voice of the ground and each the stones - what does it say? smell - what does the place smell like? - beets? aftershave? spaghetti? aged dirt and older stone? electricity? chemicals? sight - what does the temple remind you of? - what do you associate with the temple? - a chemical flask? grove of trees? a fable 2 statue? feel free to explore - inside are the two chambers and a ante-room with the heart-light, and a surprise i left beside the heart-light you can take it with you, it will always respawn - this is your link to this place (and some other things) - don't be surprise if it shows up in physical existence this place is surrounded by thick foreboding woods, unprotected by the heart-light - the temple sits in a clearing - why is the grass/ground so brown? where is it located, what environment? what does the temple construction look like to you (this time) what is the surrounding atmosphere (dark, light, neutral, hostile, angry, powerful, overpowering due to the heart-light, etc) is it dawn or dusk, day with sun or clouds, or night with moon or cloudy storms feel the stone - how does it feel? - move past your 5 senses to your 6th and higher senses there is air, even in the lower passages, because you are breathing just fine, even getting heady smell the air - how does it smell? - ancient or modern or just air? find the soundtrack in your head that fits this place, right and proper - ambient dub the heart-light into the soundtrack, and watch it change before your eyes neat! - enjoy the place - it may intrude every so often onto your physical existence, and that is a good thing for advanced work: once you get bored here, there are many other heart-lights out there, some mine, some not - go check them out - some places simply cannot be reached cause the vibe is non-human, just back out carefully and choose another one - the surprise that i left is the key to all the heart-lights out there (only real way to do it) - happy exploring - leave your attitude on earth or you'll probably get splinched by the first group of others you come across - a friendly greeting usually gets a friendly greeting, and raping and pillaging usually gets you raped and pillaged - walk softly and don't have fear - your human body is still back on earth and thus is safe and is the harbour for your soul, if in peril, out there, return to your mortal home and try another one next time This post has been edited by esoterica: Feb 23 2009, 10:18 AM

as for my trip there: i arrived and banished both sun and cloud for a moon-filled sky sprinkled with familiar stars - the temple glowed softly, a little of that atomic green, but with a undertone of yellow and orange, even red and blue (ah, like the elemental bits in the sigil)
it was still more chemical flask than temple structure - odd - some of the stones were slippery and even loose in the mouldy brown ground - ah, the red ochre of bloody mud!
was there a war here once, in this lab flask? - perhaps a bonded with b in some bloody reaction - is that why the cleaning fumes pervade the place so thickly?
i added the ante-room and mounted the heart-light - it banished most of the attempts to cleanse the place (cloudbuster works every time)- i wonder if someone had attempted to sterilize the place, like with pine-sol or chemicals - anyway, the heart-light cleared it away quite nicely
i placed a small re-spawning surprise next to the heart-light, to be found by intrepid journeyers who investigate - a link to find all the other heart-lights out there - that should keep them voyaging
with the heart-light beating steadily, the air much better, and the ground just ground again, i flew to the top of the temple and landed on a solidly-mounted chunk of blue-white rough-cut granite - there was no mortar between the blocks except for more of the brown dirt
the moon above, i began my chant of love
-es
edit - i remember the temple vibrating ever so softly to the heart-light, and that i stuck my wand ( my 'phase-conjugate interface' lol) in between two blocks so that it would stick upright, and when it reflected the moon, it too beat with the heart-light
