Well ... i've just finished playing Mighty Arranger by Robert Plant & The Strange Sensation.

I would recommend this album ... very Led Zeppelinesque overall. More so than any other of his solo efforts ... it is bound to become a classic!

Classics like 'Big Log' and 'Tie Dye On The Highway' and 'Liar's Dance' are much more outstanding than the tracks on this album ...but the tracks here will stand beside them and hold their own!

Okay ....

Another Tribe .... okay, I'm sure it will grow on me as I play it more and more (5 out of 10)

Shine It All Around ... good; enjoyable (7/10)

Freedom Flies ... Hey have I just been transported back to the 70's??? Very Led Zeppelin ... and very 'want to play it again' (9/10)

Tin Pan Valley .... Ok ... 'I come from Tin Pan Valley and I'm moving right along'; 'I live on former glory, so long ago and gone'
.... crass song really (4/10)

All The Kings Horses .... classic Mr Plant ... will become a classic song. It will grow on me. (9/10)

The Enchanter ....drivel really but with a decent open guitar lick. Not good. 'Her eyes promise mystery and her treasure to find' ... spiritual meanings abound in this poor example of what could have been a good song ...soz (5/10) ... just listened to it again ... and I wanna now say its grown on me already

Takamba .... Mr Plant I am a long standing fan of yours and I like some songs of yours and some others I don't .... this is the mid point of the two ... another which will grow on me .... but mind you many Led Zeppelin songs were the same ... drivel on first viewing and then years later I adore them ... (5/10)

Somebody Knocking .... one of the best on the album ... with unusual instruments like Bendirs and Tehardants in the background .... good food for the brain ... like it. Classic stuff ... with Mr Plant doin' his 'c'mon, c'mon, c'mon thing' .... 'I hear somebody knocking at my door' ...well open it then! (9/10)

Let The Four Winds Blow .... a little slower ... mellow ... chilled out stuff ... good melodies .... like it ... gonna love it .... mmmm (9/10)

Mighty Rearranger ....Good guitar licks ... very Led Zeppelinesque ... Mr Plant's voice is brilliant on this track! Love the feel of it .... 'last night as I was talking with an angel' ....(9/10)

Brother Ray ... man this is an obvious space filler ... (3/10)

12 tracks .... 74/120 total score .... mmm ...ok ... but I'm sure it will grow on me and any other Plant fans out there ....

Hey! This life is just a dream. As in any dream the sleeper can assume control. Magic is gaining that control and using that awakening to full advantage
