Branding sacred magick, feedback please Options

hey, my capslock is dead, it's on and off here - i wonder how many times i have to type this again ad again in various places (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

anyway, i'm seriously thinking of making a brand icon/graphic design of sacred magick to replace the basic design on the front page and probably on all pages depending on the needs.

So what will it be? an image of a mythical creature, a mythical figure etc or what? i thought of thoth and the cat bast, the bast cat on the front page like guarding a door to sacred magick etc - but what figure/image do you think will best represent what sacred magick offer? what ideas do you have? let's have them!

Ooooh! I love design work! Any of the Egyptian/Kemetic images are great...How 'bout of a lit lamp with a snake/cobra entwined about it? Tons morideas are coming through. How 'bout a figure of Prometheus chained to the rock holding a reed of fire...??? Oh well, I'm sure the people here are creative and will load you up with ideas/images! at this point i thought of bast cat since the cat is sacred and a protector. toth is god of magick - so... we got "sacred" cat and god of "magick" and we got sacred magick lol.... just kidding, I like the bast cat idea and "may" use it unless someone tell me the reason not to for this and this reason etc... so keep ideas coming pls.

Bast would be great, I am a dragon lover though, so I may be a little biased towards dragons here (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I just got myself a treat a Microsoft new Wireless Dptical Desktop Elite keyboard for $85. Nice!

BTW, I figure out bast cat model I have in mind is way too dark as the size must be able to look nice in whatever size. I also don't happen to have Thoth graphic resource, but the next one on my list is Anubis, so Anubis the jackal, patron of Magick will be it. Just upgraded the logo last night and working on the right empty corner of the forum banner.

Ideas?

You could also use Isis as she is the Lady of Magick... Just a thought... Perhaps a blend of Isis, Thoth and Bast?

Please don't get rid of Anubis! Isis or Nephthys or Sekhmet would be good for the other corner...Bast also. 2 cents worth.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

You seem quite artistic Kinjo, I think whatever you choose will be good judging by the new golden logo at the top (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

If we're going to be mixing-and-matching, I'd probably vote for Anpu and Djehuti together, or Sutekh.

If you wanted to be more creative--perhaps another patron deity/symbol from another culture all together?

Oh well, I end up with something else. hehehe.... look up. I went designing on instinct this time, just put whatever I currently have and mix and match them to whatever feels good. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/13.gif)

Now, trying to make sense the graphic (I hope not too complicated)... I see a wand on the "r" of the golden letter of "forum" where a spell/whatever is casted by active members from the forum "blasting" it to the astral temple. The spell "pastt the 2 pyramid, and don't ask me why there's 2 and not three pyramid, I happen to have only 2 pyramid stock pic (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif). A mix of gold and diamond too. Looking down is a leaf, in the middle is a golden scarab, and the text behind is a copy and paste forums we have.

Howz 'bout shrinking down 2 of the cobra designs and facing each other . In between perhaps a powerful Illustration of PTAH , and if you gradually brought down the tail ends of the cobras it would creat a Pyramid effect .
Of course the Godlike figure does'nt have to be PTAH , I'm inclined towards BAST as well , in a seductive pose.

Sacred Magick Wallpaper!

Poser is a 3D graphic software for making realistic human and animal models. Game developers, advertisers, animator etc use this software professionally. Parts of above wallpaper was made by someone else using Poser.

SM Library front page just been updated.
I'd like to add more things to it but this will do for now to cut loading time.
