World tax Proposal Options

The theory that establishing the princple that the UN can directly tax world
citizens is very important to the development of world Government.
It was a much discussed subject at Rottach-Egern this year.

This is likely to cause much outrage, so recent proposals
suggest that a direct tax on oil at the well head, using the
excuse that the UN needs to raise funds to help the poor.

Initially the tax will be miniscul, a hardly noticeable increase on the price of
oil, and of course it will be mainly born by the richer oil using Western world.

This would be the first time that any non-government body has obtained
such a right. What a shocking idea this is, taxation without representation.
We the people have no direct voting rights to the UN.

We can be as outraged as we like, but it won't change anything, look at all of the marches against the war in London before it started and still it went ahead.

The only way forward is. . .

As vile as Saddam was,he had no WMDs Unless they all went to Syria!
And if that be so,they'll be turning up in a massacre soon anyway.

Yes Genocyde, I was thinking along the lines of learning to discern between good and evil in terms pf spiritual development and then developing to our full potential; I wonder if everyone really did this, then we would be unlikely to have the extremes of greed and corruption that are seen at all levels and in all walks of life.
