I just did a Nec evocation (not old school though/without the watcher etc) earlier this evening and would like to share a variation of Solar ritual I did today.

I began with a ritual shower, then light a few incense, recast the flour circle, sprinkle salts on top of it then holy water. I then started with LBRP, and Solar ritual. When starting to grow larger - in order to do the solar ritual - I AM suggested that we put our left feet on earth and right on the sun. Without planning it I somehow felt compelled to make a jump and put both of my feet on the sun and simply proceed doing the last step of Solar ritual before finally shrink back to earth.

Within seconds of doing this I note a lot quicker warm feeling crawling up both of my feet and fill up my entire astral body to the point I almost sweat and the room seemed getting a lot hotter. I felt the energies build up around me a lot quicker too. The nec is a planetary magick, so in that instant I simply make the sun (which I was standing) as essential part of my inner circle and then proceed accordingly.

Anyone doing solar ritual pls try it and let's compare notes. I'm curious to see if we get the same results.

On to the evocation itself - briefly - I recited the conjurations repeatedly until I'm in trance then give the charge and close. I noted an interesting "coincidence" - as I often like to call it - when I was inflamed with the conjurations, I can't help but notice the candles (I placed 4 of them around my circle) started to flicker. The first one on the right side of the triangle, then on to the left, about a minute later the candle on my left back then followed by the back right candle. The flickering was strong (no wind) and I also sense a different atmosphere - not sure how to describe this but have you ever stand out in the open when the rain is about to fall? There's wind swirling around you, you feel the moist, and the atmosphere of the weather change? It's pretty much about the same feeling, but with no wind, and no rain. Close with solar ritual - again with a slight improvement - still standing with both feet on the sun, I hold my Khadga with it's sword tips up infront of me (I hold it and use it during the duration of evocation) charging my body as well channeling the solar energies to it until everything fully charged and instead doing the solar banishing wave, I banished using my Khadga in 360 degree sweeping movement using a martial art move LOL! Without willing it to happen - I "think" I saw a flame bursted from the tip of my sword around the area I pointed it when banishing around my circle. It looks like spitting dragon's breath (IMG:style_emoticons/default/13.gif) It was a pretty cool evocation I have up to date (IMG:style_emoticons/default/baby.gif)
