Need some advice about the following experience...sorry its so long. Was this considered success ( as i consider it) or was AURIEL trying to reach me for some reason?
Last night I was thinking about evocation. I had drawn a Triangle
of Manifestation on some construction paper quite some time ago, my
thought being to place my scrying crystal inside it when I decided
to evoke. Last night I had another thought. I bent the edges
(outstide the triangle) so that it would stand up and I placed the
crystal in front of it. I decided to do some "pre evocational"
exercises to get the feel of things. NO LBRP, NO BRH, no real
ritual at all. I focused my eyes on the triangle behind the crystal
and the crystal got rather active. I repeated something to the
effect of "GHOB, appear to me in the Name of AGLA and under the
Archangel URIEL" several times. I got that all important "spacey"
feeling and the crystal turned black. It was a subtle thing. Some
part of my mind realized that black can be associated with earth. I
tried again (going a bit farther than i had planned) "GHOB, appear
to me" No visibility. So i said something like "Ghob, tomorrow
> guide me to something that lets me know you were here (I might
have said something about digging) and I'll your sigil to a group of
magickians" Nothing.
