Greetings,

Question: Why is it that the process of awakening, being the principal of the Higher Self, is done in the form of invocation, as to excite the vibrations to lift and not evocation as to bring this part of self forward to be faced head on? I do understand that this is a higher aspirational working embarked on is for the purpose of “the conversation”. But rather than invoking, then to evoke as to establish a visible form of communication through a set of programmed symbols in a controlled environment? Has anyone thought about this before or is it that I’m just making it a bit more complicated then it really has to be..? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/help.gif)

Greetings Frater Moloch!

Do you need to look into a mirror to talk to yourself? If you need to exteriorize responses from your higher self then use a pendulum. Learning to differentiate between the 'voices' in our head helps us when we deal with outer entities. Induced schizophrenia to visible appearance is abit much...IMHO! I hope that I haven't missed the point of your question...? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused012.gif)

Here's how I see it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Evocation in this instance would suggest pulling the higher self out of you against your own will. Will is everything. Basically, you would be warring with yourself without good reason. Invocation is this sense is a prayer to the self, asking your higher self to come forth willingly, or not at all. You are giving your higher self a choice in the matter. It seems to me that being kind and respectful to your Self is the best thing you can do if you want to get to know your higher self. You don't want to start off that relationship on the wrong foot.

Just my two cents. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It makes sense, So in essence it's a gradual perception shift through the flow of the middle pillar to allow the higher aspects of the sub-conscious to manifest as a more direct added connection to the divine source of inspiration. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wizard.gif)
