IRC, A more functional chat? Options

I was thinking if we maybe could launch up a #sacred-magick irc channel somewhere, IRC is the best realtime chat i've seen in relations to these kinds of things and it would really be nice if we could get one.
I don't know if there's any interest but if we could get people to logon and hang out there alot it could really help things move along, i know another esotoric related site that lives on its irc channel and the fact that people like to hang out and socialise with other similar minded people and talk about whatnot and everything else.

I know there's already a chat but face it, noone ever goes there and nothing ever happends (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I just think it would be nice (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I had #sacred-magick open for two weeks on DALnet but not one showed up. We have a thread about it in the coffee shop too if you haven't seen. I've given up on these people, but you are welcome to try.

Sadly, this is often the case that a few people will talk about chat, but not get round to the chatting part.

Even on very large forums, unless there is a crisis ie: like no forums, no-one shows up, even then, out of thousands in a crisis, you may only get a handful to a dozen at any one time, albeit they will be a different dozen over the day, but that is how it goes.

Meh, i'll create my own über magick site and make the irc chat an essential part of it ;P~~
