Hello again,

I was just curious if anyone here had tried to use the arabic/middle east names for the archangels in any of their workings (LBRP and such). I was wondering if it made a great difference in the ritual. I have yet to try it myself but I'm having a bit of difficulty relating to the traditional Hebrew names.

Just a thought. That is to say, I'm goning to try it myself, but I just wanted to know if anyone else had done so already and would hopefully share their results.

From a wild clime that lieth, sublime,
Out of SPACE- out of TIME.

This is an interesting idea. I haven't tried it. Can you list the names (as best can be rendered in english) and if possible provide a source.

I'm just wondering. I thought they were possibly the same or similar due to the fact that, from my understanding Mohammed spoke with Gabriel to receive the Koran.

I wonder which ones are shared and which ones are seperate?

The angels are as such (at least as far as I've found):

Jibraiil (Gabriel)
Mika'il (Michael)
Azrael/Izrail (Raphael...kind of. As the Angel of Death, but I guess that fits in with the whole Divine Physian thing)
Israfil-- the Angel of Music who is a variation of Uriel I belive...they're both angels of music.

The pronunciation varies from source to source. I'll post more when I find some more info.
