Alright, so I'm never kein on sharing creepy experiences but I'd like to know what any of you may think. I remember when I was young, maybe 9, or 10, I was sitting on the steps of the basement of the building next to mine, these two other kids appeared out of nowhere, they looked native american or arabic, but pale, the area around their eyes were very dark, and remember the shining I think it was? well they looked like they were twins, just one male, and one female. I don't remember them talking at all, they just nodded, or shook their heads, or smiled when spoken to. They took me into a door in the basement, and there were adults, but none of them seem to notice I had entered, they took me to this closet door, opened it, and there were a shitload of toys, piled up like they were about to fall, but didn't. I don't remember if they offered me something to play with, or if I took it or not, but the next day when I went down there, it looked like no one had been there for years..Dirty, it basically looked the way a building basement should look with the boiler and whatnot, no one was there, nothing was around. Now I was a very antisocial kid so this didn't seem strange at the time. I had recently asked the owner of that building, and my mother if they ever remembered those people, but they looked at me as if I were some sort of retard. Any one ever had a weird experience like this? I've read of children seeing 'things' of the such, but never realy heard anyones experiences.

Sounds pretty neat! I love to hear of tales that perplex normal logic/experience.
I would like to respond in kind with a short ramble...for whatever it is worth.
About 30 years ago I was enjoying the recuperation of double pneumonia and the subsequent absence of work. My days were spent painting or visiting my buddy for extended walks in the countryside. I had received a phone call from my friend to come over to his house as an advent to a hike in a nearby forest. It was a Wednesday, around 10:30 AM and a clear day...a promise of an enjoyable outing. I lived in a studio apartment in the southside of town. My trip began with packing a rucksack and heading for my VW bug. The car was in decent shape and I had no trouble pulling on to the north-south road heading north into the city. My friend lived at his parents house (and was also enjoying a blissful lack of employment) in thr northern side of town, a trip of about 10 minutes all told. As I was traveling along I noticed a slowdown in traffic just ahead and a glimmer of flashing lights. As I slowly progressed in traffic, it became evident that there was a number of fire engines and police cars clustered on the opposite side of the street. We (the traffic) came to a halt as firemen rushed from truck to hydrant, dragging those canvas hoses used in their 'trade'. Minutes ticked by as the firemen attacked a fire that had sprung up in a florist shop. The large plate glass windows had suffered by the fire and the attempts to put out the blaze. We were stuck in the traffic jam for over 25 minutes while the police and firefighters organized the scene of devastation. When traffic started up again I noticed the blown out windows and the blackened storefront, the gutters running with sooty water. A policeman whom I had chatted with during the jam waved me on, rolling his eyes as I waved during passing him and the store. I pulled into my friends driveway about 15 minutes later, the trip taking about 45 minutes as opposed to 10. My buddy came out of the house and off we went. Later that day I drove by the scene of the fire. After explaining to my friend about the fire at Tommy's Florist shop I was chagrinned to find that the building was in perfect shape! No evidence of a fire or police yellow tape...nothing!
What had happened? Where was I for 35 minutes on that Wednesday morning...sitting motionless on the street? The mystery remains to this day. The florist shop is still standing, has never suffered a fire. I leave it to your imaginations. It does make for an entertaining story but these questions remain unanswered. That's crazy. lol. if what happend to me when I was young would've happend to me now that I'm older, I would freak out. But when you're a kid, you just don't care. Oh, a ghost? Ok, can I have some ice cream, now? lol. Wasn't creepy though, just got awkward feeling like when you're a kid, and you're surrounded by adults, and don't know what the hell they're talking about, so it just sounds like noise. The kids didn't talk, but the adults atleast looked like they were, their lips were moving but it sounded like I had put two empty cups to my ears.

Hey Bym

Sounds like "missing time" to me. Many, many people relate the same kind of experience. It's generally purported to be a sign of alien or supernatural abduction, but who knows? Somehow, these beings mess with memory and give people new, false memories.

Try going to a hypnotist, or do it yourself. It is possible to go back into your mind and find out what really happened.

Het FlyingMojo!
A regression might be kinda fun! I'm abit reticent that if I start prying at the lid of this control freak head it'll get fairly messy! BOOM! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blowup.gif) This isn't the only 'lost time' moment in my life...*sigh* some creepier than others.

I found this on some website talking about kids who see 'beings in the etheric'.

"The term "Indigo Child" comes from psychic and synesthete Nancy Ann Tappe, who classified people's personalities according to the hue of their auras.

Usually each universal age is accompanied by a preponderance of people with that life color. For instance now most adults are either Blue or Violet, the two colors with the attributes most needed in this the Violet Age of transition. During the next age, the Indigo Age, Indigo colors will be the norm (Understanding Your Life Through Color 1982).

According to Tappe,

The Indigo phenomenon has been recognized as one of the most exciting changes in human nature ever documented in society. The Indigo label describes the energy pattern of human behavior which exists in over 95% of the children born in the last 10 years … This phenomena is happening globally and eventually the Indigos will replace all other colors. As small children, Indigo’s are easy to recognize by their unusually large, clear eyes. Extremely bright, precocious children with an amazing memory and a strong desire to live instinctively, these children of the next millennium are sensitive, gifted souls with an evolved consciousness who have come here to help change the vibrations of our lives and create one land, one globe and one species. They are our bridge to the future.*

One thesis of The Indigo Children seems to be that many children diagnosed as having attention deficit disorder (ADD) or ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) represent "a new kind of evolution of humanity."* These children don't need drugs like Ritalin, but special care and training. The book consists of dozens of articles by authors from many walks of life. It is, accordingly, inconsistent and uneven in quality of analysis and advice. Nancy Ann Tappe is a contributor. One of the authors is Robert Gerard, Ph.D., whose piece is called "Emissaries from Heaven." He believes his daughter is an Indigo Child. He also thinks "Most Indigos see angels and other beings in the etheric." He runs Oughten House Foundation, Inc., and sells angel cards. Another contributor is Doreen Virtue, an advocate of angel therapy who has found an even further evolved generation of children is now emerging: the Crystal children. "

----Yeah, well I never had ADHD, my eyes were large, but to this day they're still black, and I never saw angels....Seemed more like dead people to me..Plus I have a good long term memory remembering things from when I was a kid, the most random monents, but my short term is bad.
