I know that in order to summon the watcher one must Sacrifice freash bread to him, but what about the fifty names? I wish to ask something os one of the spirits of the fifty names and wish to know what Sacrifice is needed if any.
On a side note, how is one ment to Sacrifice the bread? Is it to be burned? if so any tips would be welcome as bread is not very flameable.

You could splash a bit of petrol on the bread lmao! Naa, simply making a small shrine to the Watcher and offering it on a plate is enough. Throw the bread out when it goes green and replace it. When in ritual, simply state that you have a sacrifice for it and push a plate with the bread on it out of your circle with your wand or a stick (make sure the stick is blassed or has protective seals/sigils on it just in case.) but make sure you yourself do not leave the circle as Watchers arnt very happy entities....

As for the 50 Names, I occasionally offer olives, bread and olive oil, fruit, I was once asked to offer rich soil (usually found in grave yards), sometimes they ask for favours, or you can make paintings of them, make effergies, clay models, you could even get a tattoo of their seal if you wanted lol. The is nothing written about sacrifice to the names of Marduk, so you don't technically have to give any. However, there is nothing stopping you from being creative, which is what magic is all about. For the watcher I have always burned the bread in the aga mass saratu as per the instructions.

As for the 50 names I rarely give them a prize. When I have it is usually incense. They seem to like that. Olives or honey or anything of that sort will work as well.

What's the aga mass saratu? I haven't seen it mentioned in the Nec yet, maybe it's further into it...

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/flame.gif) I have used a pure lamp oil with good results, or a lamp oil with cherry scent. The watcher will show up if you can see him or not will depend on your vision. Some say they can't see him or her but they feel his or her present. I would recommend thinking deeply on walking this path because once your in that is it and your in for life. The Necronomicon works very well and results are quick and at times unexpected.
Good Luck

I have found denatured alcohol (British usage:methylated spirit?)works best
and if you want a flame that gives off light a small bit of camphor or about 10%
spirits of camphor say 10 ml to 90 ml works well dissolved in to the alcohol.

Oil or any liquid substance makes the bread soggy and it does not burn well or give a nice smell. My method is simple. Jelled chafing fuel. It is made from Methanol Acetone and Denatonium Benzoate. No smell ! These small cans of flamable jelly fit right into Bandars bowl. U only have to set the bread on the Chaffing can and turn it occasionally as it burns.
