I never really trained for OBE, but the process, i am familiar of. i always end up waking on heaviness of the body, unable to move, specially if i sleep faceup, back flat on the bed. at first i tried to fight it, but it hurts if you force yourself to move. and sometimes, my roomate wakes me if i was heard moaning, and for that, i was very grateful. i moan because i was calling for help, but no words were comprehensible. whem i was on OBE, (which only happened three times), i never get out of the house because im scared. plus, it's all black and whiteand grey! but this whole new experience freaked me out. instead of going out smoothly, i sunk, like some gravity was pulling me down. now i always sleep sideways, or facedown. hey, call me a wuss, but i dont know what will happen if i let myself slidedown! any thoughts?

I've had a similar (very similare) experience, but I've never been pulled down by a force. But I've had the inabitity to move and it felt realy ominous; I had no one to wake me so I reacted rather quickly. I called forth a bright, shimmering holy light from deep within me and dispelled the paralysis. I was able to move and that ominous feeling was gone.

Sinking feelings are common according to author Robert Bruce. He also says when it comes to body paralasis, concentrate on moving one of your big toes. This will break the "paralasis."
