True... all very true... However, the only reason that humans haven't masacured themselves is due to the fact that those with weak wills or consious will submit to the power of a stronger will... (Hence religion?) Because of this, humans can be reasanboly controled... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/bomb.gif) Of course, this doesn't means that it's 100% foolproof... desception and deciet can make even the strongest willed lessen their guard and become vulerable to others that would have sumbitted to his/hers commands... I'm 18. Personally, I find the political arguments currently flying around to be internecine and pointless too. If people started working on trying to make things better, instead of hunting down "evil", then we might never have had everything happen the way it has.
People are blind to what they themselves cause... very sad.

The value of an individual is not numerically assignable. Given the individual's infinite capacity to affect change (for better or for worse), it follows that their value is just as infinite. Logically then, not only are all individuals of equal value, but all possible combinations and groupings of individuals are of equal value, and finally, no matter an individual's past actions, their capacity to affect positive change is not diminished.
The value of the individual is sacrosanct, but actions must be directed in an effort to affect positive change.

the problem that i see with the world, more about this country in general is that there is no more morals or ethics anymore. i mean granted, when the social status quo was of that equivalant, society was very uptight, and limited where as now, we are more open to alot of topics that our parents wasn't exposed to, or that they were when they were young, but not on an intense level as of right now. the thing is, i think young people are exposed to too much too soon, and there is no value in anything. and todays teens, even the pimply faced, brace wearing, disrespectful, egotistacal geeks who interface with the internet are tomorrow's politicians, doctors, bankers, surgeons, religous leaders, and technicians. that's the thing, i mean as the time line of progression proceed, our moral fiber slowly goes down the drain, because the way i see it, as each generation proceeds to go forward, there is nothing held sacred anymore. and like the old cast as always, we (the previos generation) will always bitch about the new trends and way of thinking but for us it gets worse because as previous stated.

Anfortounatly i have to agree with you.But The question that needs to be asked is why are we all falling down the lader? The answer is both simble and complicated:the persons that need to be critisised are our own selves... "now man you are totaly wrong" every one, i beleve, will say but thing it over. god, if such thing exists (as the religions imagin him i mean), greated man with a level of wisdom unequaled for all the athore beings of this planet.through the passage of time man became the lowlife being that it is today only becouse he chouse it. Now what i mean by that:we all ( in the developed countries) have the privilege of Knowlege.a knowlege that was passed down to us by our anssestors. despite the existance of this knowlege we choose not to take advantage of it. With knowlege comes wisdom, some one said, with wisdom comes the best use of knowlege for the benefit of all of us,from that comes an increased quality level of life. THE PROBLEM IS THAT TODAY THE COOL THING TO DO IS TO SNOB KNOWLEGE that has a troumentous impact on todays society. We let others take advantage of us (Politisians for example or even our parents)we do not have free-will any more, we are made to beleave what others say that is right fors us and to folow the wave of enforeced changes(linging up with gungs ect)and we embreace them becouse we have the missbelief that that is the only way! All the above are no one elses falt but ours becouse we do not have the wisdom and MOST OF ALL THE BALLS to do what is really good for us. Just for the record Im 21,I come from an one parent family and i have a very wealthy live in every aspect of it only becouse i had the balls and the knowlege to do what was right for me and only for me! Hi, i am 21, & i agree with what most of u are saying. I agree that most of the ppl have lost their morals, ethics & stuff. But one thing i got to say is, there will be both good & bad leaders in the future. As the good cannot survive without the bad.
U see, we can stop violence, by fighting voilence though non-violence. That is how Mahatma Gandhi got Independence for India & Pakistan (It was one country at that time). We cannot fight violence with violence.
& the end of the day, it is ur decision, which matter the most. There is a saying in Hindi, which goes like this 'drop & drop makes an ocean', what it means is every single drop joins to make a big ocean. It means every single person is important, the decisions they make is important, the side they choose is important.
It doesn't matter what ur parents think ot do, what ur relatives think or do, or what ur friends think or do. What matters is what u think or do. Many ppl who have had bad parents have turned good, & with good parents have turned bad. Why, because it was their decision to do so.

Yeah, it's a pretty silly world we live in. We have an army that trains people how to kill strategically and not feel anything, but yet we remove red pens in school and say that it gives children a terrible feeling about themselves.
We blame videogame violence for murders but never question the mental health of these children or do anything to the people who've bullied them.
We tell them that education is the most important thing in thier lives, but mock the child who does well and celebrate the child who's an athlete with failing grades.
We yell at our teenage daughters for wanting to be on birth control ,but wonder why they were foolish enough to get pregnat so young.
We deny people the basic right to die in this country but offer it as a service elsewhere.
We tell them that yelling isn't the answer, but we yell at each other every day without concern for the feelings of others. In fact dysfuntional families are glorified on t.v.
Hypocrits I suppose. People know better, but don't make an effort to BE better. It's easier to blame someone else for our own problems instead of admiting, "yes, I was a bad father. I neglected my son and pressured him to be like other kids which gave him the complex that he wasn't good enough and I didn't love him. I wasn't a good role model for him and I understand now why he is bitter and angry towards me." Nah, people deny it and either avoid that there is a problem or blame someone else. (often society)
We have a habit of distracting youth with toys, tv, video games and brand names while we argue in the background. We believe that they can't hear us, and marvel when they've grown into the man who neglects his son, cheats on his wife, does underhanded things at work to get a promotion and wonder how come they've turned into such a rotten person.
Silly...isn't it?
