(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Geting outside our comfort zones is good from time to time Chris (IMG:style_emoticons/default/13.gif)

Well, we got to move to new domain (re-bookmark www.sacred-magick.ORG) for a lot of good reasons and one of it is improved security, not to mention other additional features from a free board to a paid board.

not to be a nag, but i really dislike the new design. Everything exept the banner of sacred magick at the top looks ugly. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)
I even like the lo-fi version better than this.
The former design was also graphically heavy, wich i dislike, but it had a design. I don't know if you can call this design...

Sorry if i sound harsh, perhaps some more themes are good.

Another thing to note is, graphics = bandwith = more cost for you.
Since this site is for education, research and conversation isn't a more light design apropriate.

Thanks for the feedback (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
I did plan to offer a few alternative skin for the forum so you all can choose your preferred skin but this is still work in progress.

In the meantime, you're free to suggest which skin you'd like to suggest we purchase from here: http://www.transversestyles.com/index.php?tsv=products. I'm planning to get one or two skin from there.

This is a selections of free skin: http://skins.invisionize.com/db/index.php/c/184

We can have it installed in a few days, if there's enough demand for it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I rather like the new look. It's simple and easy to navigate.

New look! It will take some adjusting to...but it is good to try new things! I do, however, have abit of contention... Where the hell did my avatar go? I had originally got it from the old board files...which no longer are available! I've PM'd Nero but have not received an answer...? I'm now as formless as the other spirits...*sigh* (fade to black...)

Some avatars somehow haven't been uploaded from the old forum. Custom forum skin I've designed haven't also finished yet, and the blog should be installed soon along with several hacks.

Kinjo, why don't you set up a local testing server to develop these designs and other features you wish to implement.

you can download an apache + php + mysql package from this site.
http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html

Its easy to setup and completely free. It will have your board running local in no time.
You can also make a local copy of your database, so that you are running with real data. Like a mirror of this site. That way you are always sure everything works, and you can test at ease without troubles.

ASF, I am doing the 'developing' and 'designing'.. The reason everything seems to be going wrong is that someone keeps screwing with things.

The current skin is temporary until I complete the design which he presented me with, I will have that up with about 9 forum mods in under a week, with the blog shortly after.

As far as the avatars, I transferred all the user-uploaded ones, I just don't have the countless hours required to download and re-upload the more than 1000 images you had in the avatar gallery. Kinjo, if you wish to do so, feel free.

I've uploaded Avatar Galleries. Members, you can update your avatar from "My Controls > Edit Avatar Settings"

No1 1000, posts attachments still has zero files though.
