I'm planning to produce a sound recording of how I recite the bornless ritual and get your feedback on pronounciations, what else for improvements and the newbs. Anyone interested?

I am... I'm interested in hearing a recording of any kind of ritual. It makes it a lot easier to pronounce everything correctly when you've heard someone else before.

I was just about to start working with this ritual, so I for one would be ecstatic if you wanted to record it...

I also like the idea of us coming together as a group to try and work on pronunciations and such.

I've been wanting to try that one and it would really help if I could hear how other people pronounce some of that crazy stuff before I try it. I always feel stupid when trying to pronounce something new... I had a dream a while ago actually that I invoked a spirit for whatever reason(I'm definatly not ready to try it) and the spirit was like "What the hell did you just call me?"

This would be fantastic Kinjo. I don't know if any kind of audio or video samples are available on the web site, but it sure would add a new dimension to it. I'm eager to hear it!

Although I applaud your idea Kinjo, I urge those to stand back respectively, and view through your own lense.

Please give me some time to do this. I bought a mic a few days ago ready to record it but it seemed I also have to buy a new soundcard since my PC won't detect the mic.

If you have a mic in on your soundcard you might have to unmute it under the sound properties in control panel.
Or adjust the levels.

Aight... I end up buying Audigy 2 soundcard today and finished recording and enhancing the audio. It's 14MB, 07.41 minute long MP3 file I'm still uploading with my slow dial up and will post the link soon.

I must say... Congrats for doing this. Your voice is amazing, but I wish I could have heard it more clearly. The voice effects and music were a bit of a distraction, even though they were beautiful.

Thanks for making this!

For someone who does not really know too much about ceremonial magick, could you explain what the Bornless ritual is? I haven't listened to the track yet. Thanks

I listened to the whole recording twice by now...and I have to say that it is brilliant (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) . Your voice is really clear and you have a really cool accent (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) . The background music is also really beautiful and fits in with your voice perfectly. I just love listening to this. Kudos to you.

QUOTE(shonenman @ Aug 22 2005, 07:38 AM)
I am... I'm interested in hearing a recording of any kind of ritual. It makes it a lot easier to pronounce everything correctly when you've heard someone else before.

93!

there's lots of recordings by israel regardie, aleister crowley and Ebony Anpu available online you know...

i too benefit from hearing (and seeing) other people perform rituals.
what i keep hearing from people is that there's no "correct way" to do them though.
i do see and hear people perform similarly but that is probably due to them having had the same "teachers"
i like to experiment with vibrations, signs and on occasion adding my own ideas, like tracing symbols i feel are appropriate combiend with a name mentioned in a ritual.. or adding positions, vibrating more bits of a ritual than i hear other people do..

93! 93/93.

Seb

Ooooooh!

Very useful to me. The first recording I've heard of the actual ritual. I keep finding tonnes and tonnes of variations on it too, so it's a little bit confusing. I like the one that hasn't been....egyptianized by Crowley.

The translations seem a bit iffy in spots when I compare some of the versions. Mostly they kinda differ when it comes to transliterating a barbarous word or not (I like to keep them the way they are).

But, kudos! Very cool and very helpful!

From an ultimate dim Thule-
From a wild clime that lieth, sublime,
Out of SPACE- out of TIME.

I'm speechless, your voice is angelic, I mean really devine. I swear I could add a tracey type track in the background and just loose myself to it. Just completely blank out.
