Can Ouija Be Used In Evocations, Poll to know your opinion Options

THough the place where to put the board is outside your proctection circle and With a normal evocation, you know which spirit you are dialling to... But will this work Guys?
Well if its YES then no need to wait for the astral senses to develop or to uses lots of energy for some questions.. Though i think that some high level entity will find it stupid to move the planchette alphabet by alphabet to spell a sentence.. Better use the Ouija for YES/NO answer questions....

This is an interesting idea...but somewhat fals...
Why...because does not agree with the rules of evocation...
theOuija board should stay in the Triangle of Art..and you in the Cercle of Power...so in the time of evocation you can not touch the Ouija board...so we can not combine the two spiritual technics...
the Ouija must remain the Ouija and the Serious Evocation must remain Evocation...

By the time i created this thread and now, i came to know about some stuff concerning that. Still for those working without circles are already at a higher level to communicate with the spirits. So as you say the Ouija is a Ouija and and Evocation remains and Evocation. They can be combined but it wont have any meaning doing that.. It would be like telling a person who can talk to you, to actually moving a coin over a list of alphabets so that he could have some shakespeare poetry for you :-)

Its good though to have the post stay here for those who wish for info on the Ouija related to evocation and know what others had to tell on this.

I think it could be used but keep in mind Ouija can be dangerous. Every single time you use it you open yourself up to the other side. You would need some serious protection. The traditional evocation method often uses a triangle and magick circle as protection. You dont have the same barrier with the ouija. Its good to learn some banishing methods if you do. Also something on how to do an exorcism (just in case).

A friend of mine also suffered this experience while she was experimenting with the board, and belive me this spirit took a lot of effort to banish especially since it would not let us enter the room. I do not believe that you should use the board alone unless you are very experienced

Hm...I think that it can be used for Evocation Entities.If we can talk and contact with them Mentally or Astrally,Without Protection in Trance,Why not by Ouija? For Example,Take yourself in Trance and say Invocation words...or e.t.c.I think it would be work,if we want it to work and anyway.

Offhand I'd say 'yes' because the Oujia board is really nothing more than a form of comm device.

That having been said, I've never had good luck with it. Not that it's evil or anything, although it is powerful and should be treated with respect as one would treat a loaded gun, but for me it just spouts nonsense most of the time. The rest of the time it won't do anything at all. *shrug* But mine glows in the dark and that's the reason I bought it--I collect glow-in-the dark stuff and it was a nice addition to my collection.

If you're using it in an evocation I don't see a problem with keeping it inside the circle, as you're using it as one may use an instant messenger program or one of those TTD? devices that deaf people use to communicate over the phone. Just be careful with it and make sure to test the information that you get from it to make sure it's accurate--just like you would from any other spirit.

And if you want to study the Ouija, the other members are right, Hunt's book on the subject is very informative. He doesn't go either way in believing it's good or evil, he just put the facts and other people's experiences up so the readers can choose for themselves.

As Darkmage said, sure . . . it'll work, just like using a mirror or pendulum.
I don't know what the all-mighty rules of evocation are, but I know that not everyone uses a triangle . . . or even a circle. I know that a lot of evocations don't need a triangle (angelic) or a circle (choate).
Putting your mirror inside the circle isn't uncommon for "evocation to astral". And pendulum (or a host of other divinatory tools) are used in rituals that, although are evocative, are outside the "traditional" western paradigm
So, why not the Oujia. In essance . . . a medium or seance could be considered an extremely poorly defined and qualified evocation.

I (personally) think the Ouija isn't that much more powerful of a tool than some others in its own . . . the fact that its used nearly exclusively by groups of people certainly would increase its responiveness.
But if your biggest concern during an evocation is to be careful with how "powerful" the Ouija is . . . I think you got your head up the wrong end, and better start thinking about the spirit.
