So far i have treated Pomba Gira as an Exu in every sence of the word. After all she IS called sete encruziladas, Exu mulher and so on.
As you can imagine, finding anyone in Sweden practicing Orixa worship of any kind and especially Macumba is nigh but hopeless. Finding information on the web usually means comprehending with my far from good Portuguise.
Also, when it comes to epithets. She has versions like Pomba Gira sete encruziladas corresponding to Exu sete encruziladas. Since she is his consort, is it usually the case that she has corresponding "paths" so there is a Pomba Gira Gogo, Pomba Gira sete capas, Pomba Gira Opin and so on?
In short, can she open the doors and recieve first offering like Exu or does it have to be him? Is there a Pomba Gira corresponding to every Exu?
I would really love a reply to this question since as you (who practice Afro/Caribbian traditions at least) can see is paramount for the work.
