I wanted to do a spell a few nights ago... but, It didn't go as planed, I ended up trying to contact Bune instead. I have been really hurting for money so I made up my own ritual... I took a black candle, carved in a few dollar signs on it, and carved a few prosperity and luck rune signs on it, at the bottom I carved bune and above that his sigil. I put the candle on a small table at the south edge, put some tap water in a small bowl on the west side, put some stones associated with money and a bloodstone around a small pile of salt to the north. I put an incense stick and holder at the east. (I just noticed that I probably should have reversed the positions of the incense and water) I sat the the east side on my bed. I lit the candle and incense, turned the candle upside down and melted wax on the top and inside of a pop can (the candle holder). As I did that I thought about bune and money. I was saying money in my mind over and over. I held the candle stick upside down because I wanted to speed up the process. I returned the candle to its holder once about a third of it was gone. I am not allowed to burn incense in my room and I didn't want to be bothered so I put it out after about a minuit. I stared at the flame for a long time saying money in my mind. After doing that for about 15 or 20 minuits. I only heard him speaking when i started to fall asleep. And it sounded like my own voice... but a tiny bit different. He didn't seem too happy with me at some points, I couldn't understand it totaly but some things he said were "I wouldn't know what to do with a boy like you" , i was embaresed when I heard that and I thought it was sexual, lol, but I don't know for sure. But later on in the night I felt like I was talking to an angel for some reason... I don't know why, It said "I am sick of..." I forget all the other things it said but I wrote them down , i just need to find where I put the note. And I kept feeling a light wind blow across my face... like mabey 10 times. Then in the middle of the night I felt a pain in the left side of my lower abdomin. It was really wierd too. Very uncomfortable. It felt like somthing came out of me in a way. And just as I type this I am feeling a breeze... I haven't done any banishing... I don't really want to... I never got the entity to state its name so it might not be bune... it probably isn't unless Bune is associated with the wind. josephQUOTE I was looking through my Goetia-The Lesser Key of Solomon The King, translated by Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers and I could not locate Bune-However upon reading of your Spell it may be that the Archangel Raphael stepped in and was presiding in the Ritual, for Raphael is over the Eastern Quarter and is also the Archangel over the Element of Air or Wind.
In Hebrew Wind or Breath is correspondent to the Ruach, which is the Mind or SPirit of God breathed into Man, and sure enough God Breathed into Man life and beget Eve from one of Adams Ribs, Perhaps you are Unconsciously Identifying with this Creation Myth SPiritually, and Raphael the Angel that stirs the Wind was present to acknowledge to you that you at least have been heard. The pain in your side could be a type of Stigmata where the Rib was taken from Adam, but in your case it was just figuratively done so yet you felt the pain. Many times these Creation Myths reenact themselves even in persons who do not necessarilt hold to their validness in belief.
Also the Spirit is Symbolic of the Wind of God See Ruach Elohim or the Breath of the Gods.

Thanks Joseph! I am not sure if the pain was a sybol adams rib because it was lower down on my left side across from my belly button. It sure is a thought though. I was thinking that it was a form of chi removal... or a spirit came out of me? I am not totally sure. Yes, it probably was Archangel Raphael that was speeking to me. I am going to do a bit of research on him , thank you for your reply Joseph. Daev AlaurmQUOTE Daev, please in future use a banishing ritual; especially when working with Goetic entities! They are nasty buggers. Banishings also help to 'ground' you after a magical working, it is necessary to enter reality again and make sure the gate you opened is nicely closed. Goetic entities are infamouse for possession, obsession and generally making magicians insane lol! For more info on Bune joseph go to http://www.sacred-magick.com/800x600/index...%20Spirits.htmlIt has a lot of descriptions etc of the entity.

Well, I didn't banish because I wanted to let him be around me... I thought that it would be better. But... Its been long enough now so I will banish. Next time I will banish right afterwards. Some times I feel like I shouldn't... but anyways... I found that note with every thing I was told... "I wouldn't know what to do with a boy like you" "I'm so sick of the fact that you..." " Fire?Thyrel?Fyrel? out makes it harder" "Watch me ?semester?" "I told you..." It was really hard to stay in the trance for me... Does any one have any suggestions for next time? Daev AlaurmQUOTE Do you own a copy of the Goetia? If not I suggest that you buy 'Alister Crowleys Illustrated Goetia', if your fast enough you can still get it on Amazon, but be quick, its about to go out of print.

Ok... I will do that as soon as I can. When is it going out of print? Are you talking about this book? http://tarot-books-600-aaa.worldbuyersclub...1561840483.htmlJosephQUOTE Greetings Alarum
Thanks for the site on the Goetic Daimons, I will have to run through my Copy Of McGregor Mathers and Aleister Crolwey's Goetia again for I looked twice and still didn't find that particular Daimon listed.
I have beeen quite busy though presently I am reading a book by the Psychoanalyst Carl G. Jung called "Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious, The Golden Dawn by Israel Regardie, The Teachings of Don Juan, by Carlos Castenada, History of Magick by Eliphas Levi and a couple other books, also practicing daily Rituals comprising the Qabalistic Cross, The LBRP, The LRH, the SIRP and a Pathworking using the Tarot Visualisation Technique encorporating the Tree of Life, The Tarot by Edward A. Waite and the Pattern on the Trestleboard.
To Daev, Yes I agree with Alarum 100% whenever dealing with a Goetic or other Malific Daemon always, I urge you do some form of Banishment of that Daimon, they are said to fragment the Psyche of a Magician who does not have proiper protection, and this can lead to fractured or splintered personality traits and anxieties dealing with the Mind.
Peace to you both and thanks again for the site Joseph

Cool spell, I always like the inventive sort (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I think it was Bune that visited you. I have had similar experiences with some of the Goets visiting me in my sleep or dreams after an evocation. Personally I do not banish after an evocation unless it has gone bad. I know several folks will dissagree with me on this point, but it has worked for me (and several others) for years. However I do not recommend this approach to those that are newer to evocation. After an evocation I thank the bieng, welcome them to stay until the candles have burned out, say peace and give my version of the license to depart. Athena

Well my apologies for questioning your experience level! I usually get people who have never done an evocation posting, just assume right away. I personally have done evocation using the GD methods, as well as without banishings. However you are right, I do not advise others to do it this way (without the proper banishings). 40 yrs is pretty damn impressive! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I am curious, if you don't mind sharing, which techniques you use for evocation? I mean basic setup, like GD, Solomonic with all the tools or? Also, any misshaps? For me yes actually I have been scared half to death before during an evocation LOL, I haven't had many actual bad experiences during evocation yet though. And of course feel free to post any info on demons, the dangers etc. if you are so inclined (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) It is always nice to learn.. I think I will just PM anything more in depth lest the newbies think I have good ideas LOL Well thank you for your patience, and yes of course peace between us, I just like to argue in forums LOL! Those must have been some interesting times with the NY Magical Childe crowd, I have heard some wild things went on there lol. There is a story floating around the net about those times and writing of the necronomicon, in case you haven't read it you might want to hunt it up. The Enochian workshops would have been awesome! I have been studying Enochian for awhile as well as my other practices but the best Enochian workshop I have been to was my own, and that isn't saying much LOL. David R. Jones was giving some Enochian classes down in OR but that is way too far for me to travel.. Oh well the Enochian entities are the best teachers I have found anyways (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) LOL about your synopsis of the various magickal groups :> I did work with Wicca for a bit as I enjoyed the earth connection (Ceremonial Magick was seriously lacking that for me) as well as the strong feminine aspect of working with the Godesses, however that was quickly also found elsewhere. Interesting thing about the manifesting medium, can you explain more on that? I have been told I have some of those abilities, but have no clue on how to control them or work with them. Instead I just get wierd things happen around me and a good heap of nausea at times LOL. You mentioned that you practice shamanism/sorcery now, I am quite curious how you use this for your evocational work? You warned about how banishing was important, how is banishing done in a shamanistic/sorcery sense? LOL about the old age, I am forgetting things and I am only 35 LOL Athena

daev-this is endor957 from OF-we've spoke briefly a few times on the subject. first of all, i commend you for finally trying stuff out to see what works for you, and i was excited reading the post so now i will speak on it and hopefully something helpful will come out of it:
1. eventhough there are no rules in magick because you can devise anything they way you want when working with an entity like the goetia (even if it's an unused portion of your brain) you want to create a protective field for yourself. some say that you (the summoner) is the circle itself, so just keep in mind that before you do anything else, that you should consider that.
2. i have worked with bune before and i have recently shared on OF that he was the most threatening one, despite andromalius's first contacts because he was so huge beyond me, and he was nothing to play with. bune, has an ego, and he is very smart and from what i've picked up from these guys is that they would be offended by you asking them things that you already know the answers to but won't admit it to yourself and they find it disrespectful in asking them to do things that they feel you can do for yourself. from their vantage point (which is F*#king huge!) they see more than we and can see the directions we are going in even if we don't know it ourselves. i guess they feel that if we're mighty enough to call them, then we ourselves have this awareness of our own situations, so if we call them, it has to be for a very important reason-because they don't like their time to be wasted. and another thing, regardless what you claim to be to them, they will judge you by your questions, because they are ancient, smart, patient and very calculating. if you do go to them for some help, it's best to ask them for information, but really be humble about it. also, address them with respect because they have ego's (but hey, they're ancient gargantuan's) and they if you're honest and humble with them, and know how to avoid their trickery (because they will test you to see if you're legit) they will help you. i find that summoning them is very easy, but dealing with them on an intelligent level, counter acting their slyness is very intense, and a very complexed thing to do. that's why when you call them, you are suppose to have only one intention on your mind, and have a realistic idea on how you go about it before hand. because they will offer you the world, just to lead you astray to have fun with you-because they test.
3. the angel is not surprising because a few months ago, orobas and andromalius was pressuring me in using them more for their services-another test?-who knows but i found it was best not to be tempted-then one of them said, "before the white lord and the black lord can meet, an arraingement must be made with lucifer." now i still don't know what the hell that means, but right before i caved into consideration to what they were suggesting, a mighty angel of *blonde light (i stress blonde) broke through the mental wall of my vision, and the spirits fled from me, and the angel was mad at me, telling me that i can come to him for such things before using them. so that was probably your guardian angel and he's more at your disposal and safer than the goetians-not taking anything away from them, but it's an intense process that has to be done correctly for your benefit. so i would try to converse with your angel on such matters before anything else.
note*-most people in books and on talk shows always talk about their angels description and in their description (as always) is always an arayan description (blonde hair and blue eyes) which is obviously biased. i can't explain it, but my angel was mighty and white, with a blonde glow to him and i don't think it was due to a subconscios suggestion. but then again, angels and spirits appear to us in the way that we accept them. for me, i'm no racist but i imagine that an angel is beyond the comparison of racial features. except this one, so my angel is really a thor-white guy looking dude, lol.

I've been doing general Occult studies since I was 6 yrs old, and started focusing on angel magic when I was 13, and am 25 now. I didn't start with the goetia spirits until rescently, but I have to say thus far in two days I've worked with two, Marbas and Bune, both seemed very promising, and if given the chance very manipulating...Marbas tried to flood my mind with the beings of ravens in diffrent places, some cold, stuck in the rain, others hungry, some scared, most of the not so fine parts of being a raven, and Bune seemed more than a little agressive. I started off with invocations to an archangel so that has helped keep them in check, but while I cannot yet claim to have seen physical manifistations of any Goetia, some angels can be most inviting, and I know of at least 3 others, two my friends who have also seen there respective angels, the other not, and hers wasn't quite an angel, and a fourth who has seen her tree spirits, though she won't work with angels or demons. None of which have been practicing for near 40 years, none of which who have even reached forty. Such results are always in reach, If you can listen to your instinct. Though I must say forty years experience is quite impressive and I would like to hear about your experiences your grace. ~Chris (IMG: style_emoticons/default/diablo.gif)

Greetings Poeticraven! QUOTE Though I must say forty years experience is quite impressive and I would like to hear about your experiences your grace. ~Chris Hmmm, 'Your Grace' has a lovely ring to it but one should be modest in Forum. I am available through PM but a tired old mans life experiences are hardly entertaining news... QUOTE "I've been doing general Occult studies since I was 6 yrs old, and ..." You must be very precocious to have studied the occult at age six! I think that the most important thing on my mind at six was Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh in the Hundred Acre Wood...alas for the lost years of youth. Shuffling around Cagliostro and the dire machinations the Renaissance occult lodges are too...stuffy for a child. A.A. Milne was by far more enthralling. My hat is off to you! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Please be gentle with my namesake. My original nickname was Bim but I changed it out of perversity to reflect my individualistic streak. Bune is quite forceful and doesn't take kindly to people poking at him with metaphoric barbs. Besides, they're(we are) ALL angels... It does one credit to link up with their 'higher' selves. Physical manifestation can be shown by outward force (incense smoke, dirt, etc.) , by inward force (ectoplasmic, nephesh material) , true translocation and/or 'holographic' imaging/projection. Good luck with your studies Master Raven! You have the potential to go far. I wish you well on your elected path. (and, not to be trite, do remember to come in out of the rain!) Peace, Bym (IMG: style_emoticons/default/00000002.gif)

When I was 6 it was mostly general magick, Earth Power by Scott Cunningham, Magic by the late Francis X. King (a general discription of diffrent magickal practices, with some samples) and a couple of books, one named White Witchcraft which is the one I think taught me to talk to candles (a candles makes an intristing friend for a child) and another one I can't even remember the name of. None of which ran with the intensity of the angel and now Solomonic magick I'm studying now. On the contrary I sometimes think being that young helped, as I started with all my imagination intact, before reality got to much of a hold on it, and even now sometimes I have to close my eyes and try to remember my beginings in this wonderful enhancement to life. I ran onto a copy of the Magick of Abra-Melin, but at my fathers request I did not work with any spirits until I was 13. I take that back, I might have done some brief expirementing with the Grimoire of Armadel before we had that talk come to think of it.....It generally wasn't as bad as you may think. My best friend from the time I was 4 also had an intrist, So I had someone to explore these things with. Though I'll grant I enjoy my child side more the older I get then when I was young, but apparently its in my nature (or at least the astrology books seem to say so of capricorns) and it seems a bit late for regret now. ;-) †l† excuse my ignorance Master Bym, but umm....what is PM? On the contrary, the tales of the tired old man come with experience not gained in any way but time, and time in this manner is on your side. oh, and yes from what I could tell, precocious would definately be a describing word of me as a child. =) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wizard.gif) (if you havn't noticed I get endless amusement off of these smilies....)

Greetings Master Raven, 'PM' is personal message. Near the bottom of each post is an option button labeled PM. It is for sending personal/private messages to others when you'd like or when you feel that off topic subjects/info is to be shared. I apologize for my incredulity regarding your age when you started reading about these subjects. Though I do have a few godchildren who are near prodigies. LOL! Well...that's great! I love it when I'm taken aback...it's good to discover new things! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/starspin.gif) Your father was quite correct to curtail your activities at that age, genius or not. Fire still burns.... Have you given thought to the studies of Science or Mathematics by chance? ...or have your interests pooled around a specific area? At your present age would I be assuming too much as to inquire as to the present level of formal schooling? Or have the Arts captivated you? Needless to say, I'm off topic here so let's discuss these things elsewhere. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) This post has been edited by bym: Sep 14 2005, 06:49 PM
